Tl*the contact owns a 2001 dodge ram 2500. while driving at an unknown speed, the hood latch failed. as a result, the hood flew backwards and nearly shattered the windshield. the dealer stated that he may not have closed the latch properly; however, the contact disagrees. the vehicle was not included in a recall. the failure mileage was 79,000.
