Takata recall my vehicle was shipped from north carolina in humidity and hot sun for an extended period of time- approx two of those years was consistent humidity and high temperatures without being driven. i am now due to relocate to california and i am requesting my truck be repurchased by manufacturer due to the extended period of time awaiting these parts to be available. carmax sold me this truck knowing these safety recalls were open and never told me! i never would have purchased this vehicle knowing it's putting my family lives at risk. there is also a third rear brake light water leak which i was told to replace rear window! only to still have puddles under my seat - now floor warped and smells like mold. manufacturers is well aware of this defect as i see complaints about this with other dodge ram owners! all as frustrated as me due to dodge first replacibg rear electric windiw which costs $600 -$1100 before finally telling customer it's a $3 gasket repair which dodge will not sell you! they want to charge labor and make more money to do this fix! it needs to be recalled.

My dodge ram air bags are listed as a potential hazard on the safercar.gov. web sight. can a dealership disconnect them until this is resolved. please advise. *tr
I took my truck in for an oil change and to have the air bag light that was coming on intermittently. after the diagnoses was done i was informed that the clock spring was broken. i asked what this spring controlled and was informed of a variety of things including the air bag system. i asked if the air bags would deploy if i was to get into an accident and was told no they wouldn't. so i had it repaired at a cost of almost $400.00. after talking to other people i found out that this was a common problem with a variety of vehicles. i thinking that there should be a look into these clock springs. it sounds like this is a common item that fails. *tr

I was just notified for a problem with my air bag. i had another recall about my gas filler tube, repaired by dodge. i was not notified about any of the front suspension recalls or problems with the wheel bearing. this part failed about two years ago and i had it replaced but never received a recall. i still have the original wheel bearing part that was given me at replacement. what is going on? is my front end going to fail while my family is driving it? i only have 89,000 miles on my truck. i would like an answer.
My 16 year old daughter was driving down a dirt road and a deer ran out in front of her and she swerved to miss it and over corrected and the back end of the truck spun around and flipped the truck side over side and totaled the truck but neither air bag ever deployed. *tr

While driving on a rural road close to home i had to swerve to the left to avoid a deer in the road when i swerved left i instantly impacted a telephone pole and came to a violent stop without the airbag deploying to protect me. i suffered neck , back and hand injuries as well as a severe concussion. i will be forever afraid to drive another dodge vehicle or any vehicle in which my life is dependent on whether or not my airbag is going to open. the front end of the truck is pushed in to the engine block. scary very very scary to think that there could be the same incident in the future that could result in death. *tr
Both left and right tie rods failed at 3 years old and 4 years old and we replaced them out of pocket. all 4 o2 sensors failed at 5 years old but dealer failed to diagnose this correctly while the truck was still under warranty and we had to replace these and the pcm, which burnt out because of the defective o2 sensors, after the truck was not under warranty any more. the airbags are defective and chrysler does not have the parts to fix it and we can't sell the vehicle as it is. chrysler states it is not part of the buyback and now we are stuck with an unsafe vehicle that we can't sell.
