I was driving and the car cut off in the middle of the road. tried to crank but would not fully turn over. had a mechanic pull up to see what the issue was and he said it could be the crankshaft. removed it, now i cannot find the part because they all look like the camshaft and my part is straight vs the l shape.
My suv auto start no longer works and as i'm driving the car, the check engine light randomly comes on while the car is in motion and the car engine shuts off and starts to slow down to a complete stop. when it got plugged up to a diagnostic machine it stated that it had 3 crankshaft position sensors that needed to be replaced. vechile has 52000 and is a 2015

Shortly after beginning to drive the car, the traction control light comes on, the steering tightens up and the brakes freeze up. this happens on completely dry roads. this happened 2 times within 1 mile of each time. the first time i almost went through an intersection because i couldn't get stopped, and the second time i almost rear ended a car. i had both of my children who are 7 and 10 in the vehicle. this is not the first time this issue has happened. it happened 6 months ago, and my mechanic said the code was a faulty tpm which was replaced. it then happened a month ago, and the most recent time which was last week. i've been researching this issue and it seems that the dodge journey has had this issue, among others. it seems as if this vehicle needs a complete recall. somebody is going to end up seriously injured or dead. i still owe $10k on my vehicle and cannot afford to buy another and pay this loan. i need to get rid of this vehicle and dodge needs to take responsibility.
The switch on my cruise control went out on my 2015 crossroad dodge journey only 39000 miles on it
My ac will unsync itself and when i hit sync it unsync again. also if i turn it off it will turn it back on. i dont know what is going on but i see that i am not the only one. i am scared been happening for months
My abs / traction control light is on. and my windows refuse to roll down and my lights on the inside of my car flicker when driving.
My car is constantly unable to start im being told due to electrical issues. ive replaced the starter, battery, & alternator. there are all kinds of forums telling you ways around getting the car to start but no real fixes. some people spending hundreds and thousands trying to fix this issue by replacing fuse boxes, adding cables, replacing the entire computer system and more to no avail. while others just park the car until its paid off or sell it. its not fair and its inconvenient. dodge journeys 2009+ are all experiencing these issues.
