Purchase a dodge journey 2009. i inform the dealer that the windows were not coming down as they should. didn't get fixed. the keyless remote was suppose to be with the car it wasn't, they installed a after market keyless remote, don't work correct. the brakes were squeaking and could hear air within the car when applying brakes. i was told that there's nothing wrong and it was normal. it has been 4 to 5 months later now its not starting . contact chrsyler llc , told me i had to have it towed to a dealer , get diagnose , get it fixed and i have to pay for it all and they will reimburse half for the part , labor is all on me. the vehicle has done this no start problem 3 times in 2 and half days. also notice that the steering column gets hot for some unforeseen reason . inform the dealer i purchase my journey from , i was told that is normal. still have the journey can't trade in back because i have no money , so i am stuck with it . having it towed to dealer to get problem looked at and all expense is on me. what do i do . i think chrsyler will not repay me. i have to borrow money to get this done because this is my only transportation. i am scared that i might have a electrical fire while driving and will not notice it until it too late. what do i do. please help in richmond va. *tr

On september 6, 2009, my wife and i were headed east on highway 19 outside cherokee, nc. a dui driver crossed the center line and hit our 2009 dodge journey headon and caused us to roll over and come to rest upright. our front air bags deployed. our side seat and ceiling curtain air bags did not deploy in the roll over. i was traveling at approx 45 mph. accident investigated and photos taken by cherokee indian police dept. my wife and i were medevac by helicopter to ashville, nc. my vehicle a total loss by insurance company. have photos of interior showing air bags did not deploy in roll over. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2009 dodge journey. while driving various speeds, the contact heard an abnormal noise when the brake pedal was depressed. the failure occurred on multiple occasions. the contact also stated that the brakes failed to stop the vehicle immediately when the brake pedal was depressed. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the brakes and the rotors needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired however, after a short period of time the failure recurred multiple times. additionally, the tires were replaced multiple times due to the continuous failures. the contact received nhtsa campaign number: 14v373000 (air bags , electrical system) and stated that the parts were unavailable. the dealer was uncertain when the parts would become available to service the vehicle under the recall. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 17,000.
Tl*the contact owns a 2009 dodge journey. while driving 30 mph, the air bag light illuminated on the instrument panel. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they replaced the sensors. the failure recurred nine months later. currently, the dealer is repairing the vehicle. she believes that such a new vehicle should not have these defects so soon. the failure mileage was 5,500 and current mileage was 14,900.
I was sitting stopped in rush hour traffic on 06.17.2008 on hwy 270. a truck traveling at approx 60 mph hit the rear of the journey . the truck remained connected and pushed the journey forward into 3 additional cars and one pickup truck. most vehicles suffered heavy damage and me and two others were transported to emergency rooms. the police report indicated 86' of skid marks and the truck driver was ticketed + assigned 100% blame. my injuries included chest compression, briefly blacked-out, heavy bruising from the left shoulder to the left knee, strained neck and nerve damage. pre-accident i was in the driver's seat and wearing the seat belt/shoulder harness. post accident my upper body was against the driver door with the steering wheel compressed against my chest. the front and side journey airbags did not deploy. the lap and shoulder belt did not prevent me from being thrown into the steering wheel and out of the drivers seat. i did not have seat belt burn marks that may be expected from a high speed multiple impact accident of this kind. the journey traveled approx 60' after impact was subject to 1 hard impact to the rear and 4 hard impacts to the front. the journey repairs cost $15,000. it has been 2.5 years since the accident and i have cronic pain and loss of motion in the neck. *tr
