Tl* the contact owns a 2016 dodge durango. while driving 70 mph, the vehicle began to lose power and the service power steering, service electric stability, and control service air bag warning indicators illuminated. the contact veered to the shoulder of the road and the vehicle shut off. the contact was able to place the gear in park, but it did not resume normal operation. the vehicle was towed to moss motor company (1000 s cedar ave, south pittsburg, tn 37380, (423) 837-7114), but they were unable to duplicate the failure and were still working on the vehicle. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: [xxx]. the contact mentioned that the stability control system was updated approximately a year ago at the same dealer. the failure mileage was approximately 105,000.*dt consumer stated vehicle was considered a lemon. I got the car with 100 miles on it and these problems continue.... kroger's and many other gas station pumps kick off while fueling. i have tried pulling the nozzle out some, squeezing the trigger less, etc & they still kick the pump off. it literally takes 10 mins to pump $20 worth of gas. also, i have a slight delay when pressing the gas pedal from a stop sign, etc. its like a second delay then its like it decides to go ahead & go. radio/control screen has already been replaced due to it going to a full black screen & full blue screen, shutting off, etc. however, even the new radio still loses the programmed station settings.
'takata recall' problem when shifting, the check engine light and it said that there is a problem with the sensor. it always happen whenever im running in freeway. it's like shifting and whenever i put it on reverse i get stuck on neutral whenever i switch it to drive or park i had to turn off the car to make it work again
I went through cheetah car wash with my 2018 dodge durango and upon exiting the car wash and receiving green signal to drive i shifted from "n" to "d" and started slowly driving toward the vacuum cleaning area. as i was slowly pulling into the parking lot, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and hit the post and building, causing it to stop. i called the police to the scene and they had the vehicle towed to basham towing service in bowling green, ky. please investigate this vehicle for mechanical failure, because if this had happened on interstate, this could have ended way worse. i found information online that dodge durango has been having a number of similar issues. http://www.carproblemzoo.com/dodge/durango/car-accelerates-on-its-own-problems.php

While driving my car is continuously shutting off. i lose power steering and need to put the vehicle in park and restart it. the first time i was coasting at 45 mph the car display controls when off and turned back on. the second time i was turning into a parking stall and the car died mid park at which point i had to manually restart. the most recent time i was driving my kids to school and the car died while going 35 i had to pull over to the shoulder (with no power steering) and restart the engine. the music and headlights remained on while the engine was off. the car starts right up without hesitation and the local dodge delearship is not finding a code to properly detect the problem their best guess is to replace the tipm in hopes it will fix the problem. i need a safe reliable car and not one that is as risk of dying mid drive and causing an accident hurting my family or others.
First issue is back racetrack lenses is full of water causing bulbs to blow out.secondly,and most scarey was driving at 50 mph and car starts making loud noises on dash(that alone scarey enough to create a crash)but the looses power and barely can steer vehicle to side of rt.27,then started back up.i am a single mom of 2 boys,(one which i rely on this vehicle to transport to many doctor appointments.)last thing i need is a horrible accident.please listen to all these complaints as if it were your family and try to address the safety of your consumers.
On 1/19/2019, i went to brake while driving my dodge durango, and the car violently shook, made a revving noise, and accelerated. my foot was to the floor and the car would not stop. i hit two cars in front of me, which was the only way the car actually stopped moving, and it wasn't until i turned the car completely off that the noise and shaking stopped. a case was opened with fiat chrysler corporate office the date of the accident. a 3rd party company was hired to investigate the vehicle and pull date off of the electronic data record. that report was forwarded to fca for review on 1/26/2019. to date, no one from fca has contacted me regarding the status of my case. i call daily only to be told i will receive a phone call from someone, which has yet to happen. no name, number, or contact information has been given to me. i was told a letter was mailed out to me from the legal department with fca on 2/6/2019. to date, no letter has arrived, and when i asked corporate for information on who ...
I was coming threw the wv area coming down a hill moving toward the car tunnels. just as i was coming down the hill the car incressined the speeds from 70 to 75 and then from there to 80. (adaptive cruise control)i tried to contact the car owners that i rented from and they wouldn't provide any information are contact me back to make the report on the vehicle .
