Fuel fill burps when tank is almost filled with fuel causing it to run down the sides of the vehicle it is a safety issue due to the possibility of it causing a fire. have not received notice on this recall yet. *tr
My airbag light has been illuminating and when i did a recall search an airbag recall did come up but there is no fix? also when i fill the gas tank i get major splash back. huge fire issue. i know there was a recall on some 2005 dodge durangos for that problem but the dealer said my vin was not included and wouldn't fix it. how can i get my vin included? another issue is the engine light comes on and reads code p0456(very small emissions leak)..but the emissions system has been gone over and gone over but there is nothing that would indicate a leak. *tr
I am not happy that my vin number pulls up only one recall when a few of the issues that i am having are on the recall list. for starters the side of my vehicle is flaking paint and not to mention everytime i fuel it, gas spurts all over the vehicle and ground. a major fire hazard especially when my children are in the back 2 seats. *tr

I'm contacting you in regards to my 2005 dodge durango. i have encountered it stalling making turns, driving down the street and at lights. i have researched the issue after having a tune up on the vehicle with no success. after researching, i have found that thousands of people are having the same exact issue. i have printed off from several sites the complaints identical to mine. this is definitely a recall for this vehicle and should be replaced by chrysler/dodge. i have found that a lot of people are finding that the issue is the egr system. the same thing with the air bag issue that i'm receiving, i'll be driving down the road and get an alert that the passenger air bag was turned off when someone is in the seat. there is two recalls in place now for air bag issues. i really hope that you will investigate this and reach out to chrysler to get this resolved for consumers. *tr

When filling up the gas tank, the fuel tank filler tube inlet check valve does not function properly. it does not close and gas always spills out. i am afraid that gas spills out while driving. at times, with the keys in the ignition, the car will turn off by itself if i am moving slowly. i bought this truck in 2006. the first year, i brought the car in for stalling on its own. the dealership told me that there was nothing that they could do and the car did not have a problem. i brought the truck in about three times for the same problem and every time, nothing was resolved. after that i did not have the money or the time to continue bringing the truck in for a problem that the dealership was saying they could not find. over the years, i have just dealt with this truck stalling on its own. about 1 year ago, i noticed that the car started spilling out gas if it was filled up. i did not know there was a recall until i researched the problem online. i found that there was a recall. i contact chrysler customer care, they looked up my vin # and told me that they did not have any recalls listed on my particular truck. i explained to the representative that my car had a problem with the fuel tank filler tube inlet check valve and that gas spilled out. i told them that i was afraid that gas was spilling from the tank while i was driving. the representative told me that there was nothing that they could do and told me to take the truck to the dealership. i am afraid that if i take the truck to the dealership i will be responsible for all of the expensive charges to fix this problem. i do not have the money for this since i am paying $700 a month for a truck that should never have been financed at that amount in the first place and is not worth the amount still owed. *ln the consumer stated she was involved in a head-on-collision on april 25, 2011 and the air bags did not deploy. also, the rear wiper made a whistling noise. ...

2005 dodge durango passenger airbag sensor light will not turn off .... so when no one is in the seat at this point i don't feel the airbag will go off during a crash .... as it may be sensing a possible child's weight in the seat. *tr
Airbag sensor and rear liftgate. airbag sensor has been replaced twice. once by me at my cost through the dealer and once by them as it was under warranty. it is on again and i refuse to pay for the fix again as this seems to be a trend. liftgate just stopped unlocking/opening. non-powered liftgate. only way to open the liftgate is by unlocking it with the key fob and or the electric unlock panel on the drivers side door. there is no way to open this liftgate manually. no keyhole or "escape "latch" inside the liftgate door. i am getting this fixed as the dealer said something was "jammed" in the mechanical device. i asked if i jammed something and they said nope it was a mechanical issue. $369.99 for the new electronic lock and mechanism. i have read in other forums that the 2005 durango's and caravans have had similar issues and that the fix was approximately 350 dollars. *tr

Driver airbag warning lamp comes on intermittently, and vehicle stalls. been back tot he dealer numerous times and all modules reprogrammed over and over with no resolution. *tr
My 2005 durango had the airbag light go on 4 times now. each time it has been taken to the dealer's service department, and they fixed the problem, but gave it 4 to 5 months for the light to comeson again, same thing was fixed and it happened again 4 to 5 months later, thiswas a safety issue when it came to the airbag. i traveled with an infant in this car ,and i wondered if my airbag will go off while i'm driving or if i was to have an accident will it deploy???? right now the card is at the dealership again for the same problem i am to the point i did not fee safe driving this car. *ak
