While my vehicle was in motion, it completely died while in the middle of an intersection and had a very difficult time getting it started again.

Well fist thing ever went out was ac compresser the deal ship wanted over1,200 to fix that . then my gear shift went out . now my breaks are making a noise but their not bad . then when you get 20 miles pr car want shift until you take you foot of gas then it will chang gears .
Clutch sticks to the ground and looses pressure, will not shift, fails to engage and disengage gears.
The right window no longer works as well as the driver side window. the trunk is also not wanting to open. key gets stuck in ignition every time i try and turn the car off. shift cables also broke, i was just getting home when it happened i heard something snap but didn't think much then i parked and tried to drive off again and the car wouldn't shift to drive i could move the stick.back and forth still,had it replaced a couple of days later they said the whole rod had come out and shot into something else in the vehicle had shift fixed. also had motor mouths fixed the mouths became loss within a couple of days now i believe the ac compressor is messing up ac kicks on but no air comes out, but it only happens once in a while car also stays cold for a long while and makes a weird clicking noise when i start it up. also smells like oil. passage seat also is stuck. this all happened within 2years ive had the vehicle.
Rear view camera went out on my 2015 dodge dart... this came right after a recall and my transmission cable bushing snapped.
Vehicle is under recall already, its stuck in neutral, the gear shift moves but the transmission isn't changing gear. took it to dealership and their giving me problems even looking it up to verify the recall and to inspect it. they agreed to give me a rental car after they verify the recall but told me it could be weeks till they have time to even look at it. they claim they have many other cars that need repaired and this wasn't a top priority. so my car is at the nearest dealership to where i broke down, waiting for them to have the time to even verify the recall? i was under the understanding recalls should be performed and completed on a timely manner, but im being put on the back burner because this is a recall and im not paying out of pocket for it so its not a huge concern for them. i was told by dodge if i didnt like the wait i could go elsewhere. i cant. the car is stuck in neutral so its stuck at dodge unless i pay to tow it to a different dealership.
The transmission shift cable on my car stopped working when i was leaving my garage to go in a road trip. this problem already have a safety recall issued, however a remedy for this condition is not currently available. the car has been towed to a local dealership, and they advised that a part has been ordered to fix the problem and i have contacted fca that advised me that they would send approval to the dealership to proceed with the repair. however, after multiple calls from me and from the dealership, fca still haven't given the approval to the dealership to proceed with the repair.
Car dropped out of gear in the middle of the highway during rush hour traffic. it was terrifying i was almost rear ended but was luckily able to get off the road safely. dropped speed and there was no acceleration.
I was backing out of a parking space at a coffee shop and my car stalled and wouldn't shift gears. finally was able to get it towed due to a recall on the vehicle and was told it would be a week to get it back. received a phone call exactly at one week and found but it will be 1 month before the part will come in. that doesn't even include them fixing the actual car. didn't even offer me a rental. it's been great.

Shifter cable came apart again this has been our third time dealing with this situation. i was in the parking lot and tried to reverse but the shifter wouldn't move to reverse so it just stayed on park and the next was worse my car scatched the side of the wall due to the shifter going bad. i don't think i should be responsible for keep dealing a situation that the makers already knows about..
I started the car moved the shiftier to reverse took foot off brake started to reverse slowly. the car jumped forward on to curb and grassy area destroying under body shields maybe because of recall 19v-293

Takata recall i have a 2015 dodge dart with 55,000 miles on it. i have had some issues with it stalling while stationary. now on 2 separate occasions it has stalled while going 40+ mph. this could be very dangerous it this happens with traffic around me.
My car shut off on its own while i was driving to work, so we were in motion. it has now happened 4 times to me in a span of 3 weeks. i can either be driving during the day or night. it will happen in the middle of driving or when i come to a stop sign and adding pressure to the brake. once it happens, and if i put it in park as well, the stick shift will lock up as well. again this has now happened 4 times to me while driving and coming to a stop.
No check engine or warning light driving on the interstate in 6th gear car blew up loud noise and caught on fire! only 85,000 miles with regular services. lost all power and clutch pedal dropped to the floor and coasted to shoulder with a lot of smoke coming from engine opened the hood and there were flames where transmission fluid goes. i had noticed the transmission was slipping a couple days prior but it was christmas time so thought i could have it looked at afterward.

The 2015 dodge dart was purchased in september of 2018 with 35,000 miles on it. it has been regularly maintained had hasn't had any issues until november 9, 2019. the car was started that morning and idled approximately 2-3 minutes, it drove about 60 feet and stalled, power steering and brakes where lost. the battery light was illuminated on the dash board. when trying to restart it struggled, but eventually turned over. it then drove fine . once at home i research the issue and found multiple reports like mine of engines stalling due to excessive oil consumption.
While driving down the road my dodge dart without any indication completely dies and i have no control over the vehicle when it does so. we were on our way to bring our kids to school on yadkin road in fayetteville north carolina and almost got hit by an oncoming vehicle because we could not get out of the way on this small street the car is a 2015 dodge dart and only has 16,000 miles on it and it was serviced by the dealership for all fluids
Placed car in reverse and it would not shift gear to drive. unable to remove the car had to push the vehicle to the side of the road and was unable to take the key out, until 6 hours later unable to shift any gears car ran all night until the battery died. i was on a city street working fine without a problem until poof it would not allow me to shift to drive.
Clutch rattles and vibrates. i already replaced it at my cost since refused to cover transmission clutch is still under warranty. car has 51k miles. replaced were the clutch, clutch pressure plate , slave cylinder, throw out bearing, deteriorating master cylinder to the slave cylinder was excessive for the mileage and wear on the car.
Car stops without warning, will not accelerate and dies, no warning indicators beforehand, only popping the battery light after it stops accelerating. was trying to merge onto the highway at the time. radio, interior lights, and emergency flashers still worked, engine would not restart. car had to be towed home for repairs. problem was not battery related.

I had just came home and ran into my house to grab something and immediately returned back to the car and when i started the engine and attempted to put my car into drive the light on the gear shift for neutral lit up. the car is now stuck in neutral and the key will not come out of the ignition due to it being in neutral. we have called several numbers for dodge and they are telling us that the car is not qualify for the recall because the vin is not showing up with a recall even though the sight shows that there is a recall for the exact issue for 2011 - 2015 dodge darts. we need assistance with this because if they know these cars have this issue there is no way they should be telling us that this car does not qualify for the recall. please help.

I was driving and came to a 4 way stop sign, after completely stopping i proceeded to pull off. as i began to turn the car slowed down tremendously and come to a complete stop and the red battery light came on. i was unable to start the car back up until about 15 to 20 minutes later. every day following this day, the car began to start up and stop after going only a few feet with the engine light coming on.
When braking, brakes feels hard and require significantly more force to activate. a hissing sound is occurring and brake force will often not engage until halfway into the petal. the issue has been resolved by my mechanic, but according to him and some research i've done online, this seems exactly like an issue with the dodge dart 2013 recall for the same part. as taken from dodge's site: the brake booster on your vehicle may experience engine oil migration from the vacuum pump, through the vacuum supply tube, and into the brake booster. prolonged brake booster diaphragm exposure to engine oil could cause the diaphragm to fail. this could lead to a loss of brake booster assist and/or an air leaking sound. a loss of brake booster assist could require the driver to apply additional brake pedal force to stop the vehicle. the lack of brake booster assist could change the braking characteristics of the vehicle and cause a crash without warning. i'm putting in this complaint with the hope to avoid others from accidents and ultimately to hope to get a refund from the service and parts i had to get into my current car. i recognize that the dot is not responsible for a refund but would be instrumental in having dodge issue a recall if enough other 2015 dodge dart owners complain about this as well. thank you
I was stopped at a 4way stop and when i tried to move forward the car stalled on me and did not move. i pressed on the brakes, let go and pressed on the gas again and it did the same thing but this time the dash read "gear not available, switch to neutral and then to drive or reverse." i did that but it still stalled on me and then the dash read "service transmission" and the engine light came on as well. after one more try i managed to get it to move so i just parked it in an empty parking slot and called my dealerships service department. the car was towed to the dealership and as i type this i'm awaiting a call from the service department of my dealership so they can tell me what went wrong. i hope it can be fixed.
Car cuts off while driving after a couple tries of restarting it it will finally start and drive ok . but it has done this several times and is dangerous what if this happen on express way . someone can die from this issue and it needs to be handled
While driving down the expressway with my wife, i seen sparks in the rearview mirror. upon pulling over and checking the tires(figured a tire blew out and we were riding on a rim) i noticed a glowing coming from under the engine compartment. by the time i got my wife and our dog out of the car smoke was coming into the car. i immediately called emergency by the time i got off the phone with the dispatcher the car was fully engulfed. chrysler did an "investigation and took no responsibility for the fire. i've seen numerous others with the same result as our car.
Tpms system failure (multiple times) i have had my tpms system repaired three times since i have owned my vehicle and it never fails that it stops working again shortly after getting it fixed. i have no idea if this is considered a safety issue but it could be for some people that don't pay attention to their tires. the right cv axle has also gone out of my car at approximately 70,000 miles. this item was covered by warranty but other friends that own darts have mentioned having the same problem. it created a bad popping noise and made going over bumps slightly unstable. transmission shift cable -- this is active recall on my vehicle but figured i would include the information.
My car keeps cutting off while i'm driving. the batter light comes on without any warning. after the batter light comes on the only thing i can do is steer, the car starts to slow down, i can't excel at all, raido and all lights cut off as well. once the car comes to a complete stop, i'll start it back up sometimes it'll start right back up, or i'll have to hold the key down a few seconds for it to start. the car have stopped on me while driving move than 5 times. i took it to the dealership where i purchased the car and the first few time they said after they ran all of the test they couldn't get the vehicle to duplicate the problem. another time they asked could they keep the vehicle over night and have a mechanic drive the car home and back to work. the next day when i went to go pick up my vehicle they said they kinda-sorta got the car to duplicate the problem those were there exact words. then they put a monitor in my car they told me to press the button while i was driving if the car was to go out so they can record the problem. the monitor was in my car for about a month and my car didn't duplicate the problem. a few weeks after they took the monitor out my car cut off on me again and took it back to the shop and they ran the same test and they couldn't figure out what's wrong with it. another time my car went off i toom it back to the shop and it just so happened that my car was halfway empty on oil and they're telling me that my car is cutting off because it needs oil and they were going to monitor the oil. so they sent me back on the road and told me to come back when my car got to a certain amount of miles they had wrote down , when my car got to that amount of miles that they have wrote down i took my car back to the dealership and i told him to tell me if i needed an oil change and they told me i didnt. the car cut off when i was on the highway and on th
On two separate occasions, my car randomly cut off while i was driving through my complex and flashed the battery light. i had the battery checked & was told it's good. i had an appointment with a mechanic in my warranty network, they referred me to the dealership. when i called the dealership told me there is nothing they can tell me until the check engine light comes on. when i filed a complaint with the car dealership, they told me that there is nothing they can do without a diagnosis. so, now i know there is a problem with my car randomly stalling, but nothing i can do about it until a check engine light comes on or it randomly stops at the most inopportune time and someone crashes into me and potentially kills me. *tr
The "parking light out" warning keeps coming on. i took the vehicle to the dealership three different times and each time was told it was fixed. the "fix" lasted for about a week and then the warning message would return. the warning showed up again today after about a month of being off. also, all the tires have extreme pressure loss. it will go from 42 psi down to 10 psi over night with out any noticeable damage. after inspection there was no apparent holes or damages to any part of the tire. the dealership has replaces the tires multiple times and the problem continues. partial pressure loss, between 4 and 10 psi occurs during normal driving range. however, a significant loss, between 20 to 30+ psi, is well the vehicle is in parked state over a period of rest usually around 6 to 8 hours. multiple of events noted between apr 2015 and nov 2016.
Brake lines popped leaking fluid on ground and the tire pressure sensor has been on for a long time and i keep getting told that i just need to drive it
Car will cut off going down road and will not crank back for at least 3 min. i have almost been hit by other traffic on various occasions. this started back in july 2016.dealership says it's a safety to keep car from blowing up when it has low oil. the car burns excessive amounts of oil. problem is i have oil changed on a regular schedule and between oil changes to prevent car from cutting off in middle of the road i have to put any where from 15 to 25 quarts of oil in. it's getting worse. it's not leaking anywhere. also sometimes out of no where with my foot not on accelerator it seems to accelerate on it's on. the car also hesitates on takeoff often.
First, i hate this car! the engine light came on! has started wanting to go dead when stopping at stop sign or stop lights. took to dealership and would not put on machine! the seats are positioned horribly. seems like it is declining really fast. purchased in may 2015 with 5 miles on it.
Whenever i press the horn there is a delay of about one second from when i press it till when you hear the sound of the horn. plenty of times, as well, when you press the horn no sound is produced. sometimes it is necessary to press the horn a really hard in order to produce a sound. several times this has led to a near accident. this happens when either the other driver wasn't notified quickly enough of my presents or he noticed but it was too late and there was a near accident.

My 2015 dodge dart was the victim of a high speed collision...unfortunately as extensive as the impact was none of the airbags deployed in my vehicle as i spun uncontrollably and bang my head on the steering wheel and side of the car. i purchased this car because i was impressed by all of the safety features and the one feature that could save my life was defective.

Was going through car wash and attendant noticed a bulge in the front driver side tire. took it to dealer and was told not covered under warranty and that i must have hit a pothole ( which i did not) that's the only way it could have happened. i am very careful because of the warning given by a salesperson when we leased the vehicle.

I purchased the car the last week of february. i began having car problems in mid march. i called the dealership and was scheduled to come in for service. was told the software needed to be updated. got car back and it stopped on me twice and had to be towed to the dealership. in may i was given a loaner car and was told my oil consumption was bad. received car back in june and car was reposed for nonpayment. i got car out and it stopped again. in july the dealership then gave another loaner and told me my car will be a chrysler buyback. from july to september never heard anything from chrysler till sept 24 advising me to go to the dealership to choose another vehicle. dealership did not know what i was talking about so we contacted chrysler to get a clear understanding of what needs to be done. was told to choose a car and they would take care of the registration and the paper work. drove the 2015 jeep renegade for almost a month and i checked in with the dealership once a week to find out if the paperwork was complete. first week of november was told by dealership to bring back the jeep and my 2015 dart was repaired. i was told to register the dodge dart and then i could get the jeep back.
