I continue to have a service airbag error on my dashboard. i have reported to it to the dodge dealership and they are unable to assist unless a fee for diagnostics and a fee to fix the issue when it's clearly a safety matter. today i had a repair at the dealership due to a recall (v34) transmission shift cable. i am still experiencing issues with the shifting of my gears. i researched recalls on 2013 dodge darts and saw recalls reported regarding the powertrain as well as airbags. i would greatly appreciate a response asap. thank you and enjoy your day.
Service airbag system message displays when you start the car and drive it it does not go off
When a passenger is sitting in the front passenger side of the vehicle with the seat belt connected, the vehicle is illuminated a warning light saying passenger seat u buckled. this is also causing a "service airbag system" to appear in the dash along with the warning light being illuminated. the problem was first observed when a passenger sat in my front passenger seat, vehicle was not in motion when the lights illuminated and continued to stay illuminated while driving.
One day i was driving on the highway and i received a notification to 'service air bag' and my car shows the passenger seatbelt isn't buckled, even when it is. this causes my car to make noises at me the whole time i'm driving. it has also raised concerned of whether my airbags are functioning, and if i and anyone who rides with me is safe driving/riding in this car.. i just had the bushing for the shifter cable repaired.. now another dangerous situation with my dart.
Fasten seat belts light appears on dash and dings. air bag light continues to be lit. battery replaced and tested good...car doesn't start. radio loses reception. key fobik doesn't lock, unlock, remote start or panic button doesn't work to car (always did before) check engine light has come on and went off several times
My daughter has a 2013 dodge dart and her service air bag system light came on and the seat belt shows that not buckeled when sitting in the passenger seat.talking with a mechanic this means that the air bag will not deploy and this is a major concern due to the life of my daughter and her passengers .dodge really needs to fix this and not at my expenses you charity [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).' *pm
Passenger seatbelt light comes on even when passenger has seatbelt on. airbag service light is illuminated. both happened simultaneously. air bag light remains on even if there is no passenger.

I had took my car to chrysler in biddeford in may 2017 c/o that my e-brake was not holding my car. once i got the car back i could hardly lift the brake. i went back in and asked why it was that way, they stated that it would loosen up as i use it. i used the brake a couple of months later and it went up about an inch. the next time i used it was in february and when i pulled up on the brake level it went straight up. i called and left numerous vm. no one called me back. i went back in on a saturday for my oil change. i talked to a rep there and they stated that they would leave a note for someone to call me back on monday. i never received a call back. i finally got someone to make an appt for me to bring my car in. once they found out i no longer had the b to b warranty they stated that i would have to pay almost $500. i called and left a msg for the gm and i got a call back from the sales ...

My son was driving high way 280 east bound mp15.1 when a vehicle it us from behi d then hit us a second time on the passenger side of the car between the passagers front and back door busting the back passenger window out and dented the whole passager side of the vehicle totalling the vehicle out we ended up hitting and damaging the divider wall before coming to a stop along the shoulder of the road facing the opposite direction....it was raining cats and dogs... really hard
Clutch is sticking in the 1.4l turbo dart while stationary. car wouldn't start right away but did eventually. hard to get into gear while stationary. emergency brake has failed and is not working. airbag light is on, on the dash.
One day passenger seat belt light came on along with service air bag light and have had problems with since. took to a dodge dealership and they told me they would not fix it without me paying 1600.00 dollars. when i did nothing to cause this. i was also 5 months pregnant. my husband called them and the service manager told him that if i was in an accident my air bags will not deploy! tell me how this is safe!?!?!
Sevice air bag light illuminated at approximately 60,000 miles. when a passenger sits in the front passenger seat and buckles their seat belt, a warning appears on the dash stating the passenger seat belt is not buckled.
Vehicle has service airbag light on and sensors say the seatbelt is unbuckled when it is not. has never been in a collision. now i still owe 1 year of payments and my only car is not safe to drive.
