Slight 'miss' at idle all the time intermittent weak starting odd 'sometimes' problems: 1-cruise control won't come on at all 2-if cruise is on, will not decelerate car on a decline (always above speeds of 55mph intermittent at speeds 55 and below) 3-u connect problems-no bluetooth, passenger door unlock inoperative from outside passenger or driver door at handles(must push button on door panel or on fob)no power at usb or has power but not sensing accessory at usb, no audio from audio port (2013 charger not on compatible vehicles list for any u connect so why did it get installed?) 4-menu up down ^ buttons on steering wheel don't work 5-burning electrical/rubber smell inside car 5.5-air handler switching problems defrost/floor/dash (seems like defrost always on) 5.75-headlights dim/brighten while in use 5.8-power train probs intermittent(feels like it's towing something behind it as far as power to vehicle from engine) 5.85-overall shifting probs delayed or lacking in power or hard shifting both from park into gear and automatic shifting through gears most noticeable from park into any gear 5.9-while in park at idle traction control light comes on ...
In my car the oil filter assembly was leaking oil and was replaced. i have found that this is an issue with every 3.6l engine by dodge 2014 and up. i spoke with a dodge service representative and he said it was the worst design they have ever put onto this motor due to the amount of cars that have had the same issue. i feel this issue should be dealt with asap because for numerous reasons. first reason being oil flying throughout the engine cab can cause a fire. second reason being that oil leaking while driving can cause dangerous driving conditions for other motorists whether it's slipping on oil leaked by my vehicle or from oil being sprayed up from my vehicle coating their windshield. also another danger for me the operator is the nauseous smell of oil burning going through my heating system is extremely dangerous. i hope that you see this complaint and take it serious and investigate this issue because i truly feel that this is a serious hazard. i have since had the part replaced with an upgraded part that dodge offers. and i had it installed by the dealership i bought the car ...

48hrs after i received and oil change i was driving to victorville california from san bernardino california and as i was exiting my exit my car turned off as i was driving. car would not start. tried to jump it and the engine would not turn over. i towed it to the shop after some troubleshooting they said it was the engine.. it had locked up. i was quoted $2500 for repairs
I was driivng on the interstate and my car shut off by itself. i tried to restart but no luck. i found out that the timing chain broke off. i know theres been recall on the timing chain before.

Car stalls after fill up. pull into traffic and you lose steering breaks ect. need to put in park to restart. will continue and miss and stall for about 5 miles. once you run some fuel out of the car it runs exceptional until the next fill up.

While driving on a 2 lane highway with traffic behind me, the car shuts down and i lose power while driving. the steering wheel locked up making it very difficult to turn. i pressed the gas repeatedly and nothing happened. cars behind me were blowing but there wasn't much i could do. the car was slowing down anyway so i pressed the brake and they worked so i struggled like crazy to turn the steering wheel and was able to put the car into a church driveway. thank god the brakes worked or it could've been ugly. i tried starting the car but it wouldn't do anything but act like it wanted to start. it wasn't a clicking it was more like a winding noise like a ruuu ruuu ruuu. i tried to start it again and it made the same noise but it sounded worse. i had to have the car towed to my home because there wasn't a repair shop opened that late. i'm going to call a mechanic to see what the issue might be. this is not the first time this has happened to me. it happened two in april and three times ...
I have 2 problems. first while driving all my warning lights will flash on then go right off. another problem i have is my car will turn over and sometimes start but die immediately. once i get it started it will go fine for a while before doing it again. by the looks of my research both problems are pretty common in 2006 chargers.
