Rear glass of softop has come loose from material. this is a dangerous issue since the car able to be driven safely. 2005 cars of same make and model has had an extended warrantee provide to it, with many owners receiving full replacement of soft top at no cost to them. this happended while the car was stationary, sitting in my garage, in jacksonville fl. i am the original owner of this car and this car was delivered in what 'chrysler' has deeemed to be 'hot weather states' (fl) from their 2005 replacements of the same exact issue.

While driving down the road i noticed a lot of road noise coming from the rear area and found that the rear window glass was coming detached from the top fabrick. over the next two weeks the window and almost completely come apart from the top. i have found that chrysler has offered through their tsb-23035-11 reva service bulletin to cover this problem on 2005 models up to ten years or 100,000 miles. my problem is identical to the 2005 and i only have about 57,000 miles on the vehicle but their customer satisfaction center only refered me to the dealer who has stated that the top needs to be replaced at a cost of $1650 to me with no assistance from chrysler. the top is in excellent condition and it is unrealistic that this should be anything but a manufaturing defect. i have seen on the internet that many other crossfire owners have the same issue as i have. *tr
