Yesterday i had to go to the hospital because the trunk lid fell on my neck when i was unloading my trunk. this car has an electrical trunk that opens and the trunk also, has a spring air rod that controls the hold of the open trunk. i know this failed because the trunk just lost its hold all of a sudden and landed on my neck. as i tried to lift it from above me (its very heavy- big trunk), my left hand index finger broke and my left arm and hand are in pain. not to mention, the severe pain i am undergoing with my neck. i also bled a lot and immediately went to the emergency room. i believe this can be a manufacturing defect due to the excessive weight of this trunk door and the device being relied on for the control of trunk. *tr
