Noticed coolant reservoir was empty. put it in the shop and it is the turbo that chevy manufactures with the engine. it is leaking. the vehicle is only a 2015 with 34,000 miles, the turbo should not be leaking already. it does need to be replaced. i have gotten all the maintenance done.
The vehicle will stall while driving and not turn back on unless the vehicle is in park and the key is taken out and put back in. this is a severe safety hazard as it has almost caused me to crash multiple times and the dealership says they cannot find anything wrong with it.
Vehicle rolls backward in drive causing near collision. i was operating the vehicle on several occasions on a slight incline and the gear selector in drive, the vehicle shifts to neutral causing the vehicle to roll backward when the brake is released and on 2 occasions causing a near roll back rear to front collision.
Chevrolet has repeatedly stated that the transmission on the trax is operating as designed when it allows the vehicle to roll backwards on any sort of incline, however chevrolet advertises the trax as having hill start assist, which automatically applies brakes for up to 2 seconds between when a driver takes their foot off the brakes and applies it to the accelerator. the vehicle does not do this at all. the transmission allows it to roll fully backwards, despite what chevy advertises and states in the vehicle manual.
The vehicle's transmission is dangerous. it frequently causes surging when braking or creeping in traffic, that can cause unintended surges into the vehicle in front of you. the transmission also shudders when creeping in traffic, which can also cause the vehicle to surge forward unexpectedly. gm has refused to acknowledge that it is an issue.
( first complaint)when in gear on a hill the vehicle starts rolling back ward for no reason i now have to drive with two feet (second complaint) my rear view camera you can only see 3/4 of the pictuer the part is blacked out. (third complaint) the oil thins very fast had htree oil changes less than sixmonths. this vehicle has been back to the deal 4 times the fourth time they told me it was the (incline brake) and the only way it could be fixed is i would have to get a new vehicle because it was built in and no way they can fix it. the camera issue they said it met gm an chevrolet specs so nothing was going to be done abour it. there are serious issues with all my complaint i am not trying to be a stastic of a recall vehicle. i am send attatchments of the dealerships demials of the problems existing. please see attatchments i was wondering if i should get the news media involved because i see complaints and no investigations done on any of theses matters.
