Air bags do not come out in highway impact of 70 miles per hour.
I have not been in any form of accident and there has been no damage to my vehicle, yet this morning, i started my car and immediately, the 'service airbag system' warning was displayed and my airbag light was illuminated. the light did not turn off while driving. after turning the car off, waiting, and then on again, the same error warning and light both displayed again.
I had my service air bag light come on and has stayed on and had a coder ran on it at my local chevy dealer . they said there is something in the driver seatbelt triggering it.
It keeps saying service airbags the first time it did this two weeks after purchase we took it back to dealer in sikeston and the replace connector under seat which cost us 800 dollars now for months later light is back on and with this light on the airbags are disabled which is a big safety problem for my family the issue needs be fixed because of safety reasons also a costly repair bill car has only 70 thousand miles what can i do to get this issue resolved with my vehicle it happened it september and now in december both times you start the vehicle it comes on an will not go off without costly repair that should not be charge for safety issues with vehicle

Since august( around 08/25/19), i've been having a service air bag notifcation which i've took to the chevrolet dealership services. i was told there were a senor to be replaced and payed for the replacement. september ( around 09/18/2019), the service air bag came on again less than a month with the same notification. i was told then there was a second senor that needed to be replaced. here i am now in november (11/20/19) with the service air bag notifcation on my dash board again for the third time. i'm in the process of contacting chevrolet once more about this. i reserach the recall but there is no recall for my vehicle. i'm unsure if anyone else having the same issues. the light either pop up at the start of turning on the vehicle or during the drive. normally on the first day of notification it will go off after second crank but within 3 days will return and will not turn off. this part is not a cheap part plus adding dealership fees.
Hit a deer didn't do no damage to the car the air bags deployed but not all the front airbags just the one in the steering wheel and passenger side dash
