Statement from our driver- "i was driving my recently issued 2019 tahoe and the steering wheel locked up. fortunately, i was travelling at low speed and the brakes worked. reverse did not work (it acted like neutral). the steering stayed locked up for quite a while, until i turned the engine and all the electronics off and let it sit that way for 3-5 minutes."

While driving at 70mph the power steering stopped working without any warning, nearly causing loss of control.
