I purchased my vehicle'2015 chevy tahoe lt on july 1, 2019 i have had intermittent glitches in the electrical system. the headlights, dash lights, and mylink touchscreen will completely black out and then come back on. however, when this happens the steering wheel locks up for a split second. this is happening while driving, at speeds over 50mph, during the night and day. it was suspected to be the alternator or battery, after replacing the alternator there was no change in the behavior. it continues to happen. the service stabilitrack warning will also pop up after the power is restored. this issue is very dangerous and after reading dozens of forums it's clear this is not an isolated incident. this has happened over and over at least 20 times since july 2019, randomly and completely unexpectedly.
Condensation collecting inside of both headlight covers. i have paid $200.00 for a turn signal replacement. now getting another failure warning on same headlight and the dlr is out on the opposite side of vehicle. i was told dealer it would cost 2000.00 to replace both gaskets. gm has issued service bulletin stating the problem could be caused by the vehicle being exposed to rain?? or car washing. i noticed condensation while parked in garage
The interior lights flicker whenever the vehicle's brakes or left blinder is used. the flickering causes distraction for the driver and passengers. flickering hurts eyes, in addition causing headaches and potential for seizures. flickering occurs when the vehicle is in motion and when the breaks are used and/or the left blinker is turned on. this is especially disruptive with inner city driving.
All of the dome lights in my tahoe flash when i brake or put on the left turn signal. a simple google search shows that this seems to be a fairly common problem with specifically the 2015 tahoe.
First off, my dome lights. they flicker on and off every time i hit my breaks or every time i turn my left blinker on. secondly, my air conditioner! i live in a very hot and humid state. i have already fixed the a/c in my tahoe once at the beginning of the summer. now i am having the exact same issue as i was then.

Every time i press the brake or use my directional all the interior lights flash. its extremely distracting when i drive at night. i did't know i could report this here. i spoke with my dealer last year and he told me it would be very involved to fix since my warranty was up. he said if it doesnt bother you that much it would be better to leave it. :(
Headlights on driver side keeps water and moisture in it and burns out the signal bulb bought it to two dealer ships and they told me all tahoe's do that and gm will not warrior so if gm knows about this y don't fit the problem i drive my grandkids around and if it rains and burns the signal bulb out it could cause a accident because my signal bulb burn out and there is no crack in the lens i was driving yesterday and was turning left and almost got hit because the other car taught i was going straight the bulb burn out when i put my blinker on because the information panel told me that my left turn signal was out
Was parking and the service brake turn hard as a rock. so at a slow speed drive around the lot to found the service brake with no warning would just stop working. like the brake booster lost vacuum and needed time to build back up. had towed to dealer. mileage 37,500 give or take 100 miles at no time did any warning lights come on . same thing happed at the dealer then tech and service writer drove it . also right side drl seems to fail in every one i see
Cracks are appearing in my tahoe 2015 both headlights (right and left). on investigating the issue by touching the cracks and it is found that headlight is cracking from inside. most probably material or manufacturing fault. i went to the gm service center in riyadh to show them the issue and they did nothing to solve the issue and even saying this is the first time we (gm) received such complaint. gm dealer even closed my case without notifying the outcome of the issue and possible resolution. there was no accident that caused this issue and cracks are appearing in the both headlights and almost at same positions on both headlights.

All interior lights that consist of, front dome lights, both rear reading light fixtures that are dual lights that have left and right side lamps flash for a split second each time the left turn signal is used or each time you step on the brake pedal. very distracting during evening or night time driving. this happens weather the vehicle is stopped stationary or driving.
My 2015 chevrolet tahoe's interior lights flash brightly when the brake or left turn signal is applied. it is a very bright flash and extremely distracting at night. it happens while driving. i can imagine it is also very distracting to other drivers at night as well. it happens every time the brake or left turn signal is turned on. online research indicates other people also have this issue. it happens on all roadways at all times. but specifically at night is the safety concern. my passengers in the rear have also been complaining that it is physically stressful to them when the interior lights flash without them expecting them too.

At slow speeds car dies shutting off all electric power and locking us in the car. steering wheel jerks and car dies. backed out into highway at night two nights ago and car died in middle of road with no lights. there was enough of a hill to let the car roll off of highway or my family could have died. car has around 60k miles on it. have read other issues similar to this. no evidence on computer when we take it to dealer. we have had this issue happen at least five separate occasions. the last one was the worst and most dangerous.

I got a message on my message center telling me that my left turn signal had a failure. it would start blinking fast. i took it to a parts store to get a bulb to replace ur but was told that i would have to take it to the dealership. took it there and was told that the socket had melted and that i would have to replace the assembly. i just read where other owners who have chevrolet said experienced the same problem.

Vehicle would not start,needed to jump start. once running ,climate controls and fan volume would not respond. heat at 90,fan on full.engine light flashing on off.dash lights suddenly dimmed to low.taken to dealer,had vehicle for 4 days.dealer replaced battery.one week after battery was replaced,experienced the interior cabin lights would flash when brake pedal was applied.instrument panel lights suddenly go from bright to dim.at night and day when turn signal activated ,the interior cabin lights flash on as well as when driver applied brake.very distracting and dangerous in particular when operating at night.notified dealer,returned vehicle for full diagnostics,had it for one week,no issues found. picked up vehicle interior cabin lights still flash when brake is applied.slight movement and clicking on drivers seat only while operating at any speed.notified dealer.again to document.advised i would be filing a safety complaint,since dealer nor gm could not resolve issues.occured june,july,aug,sep,oct, 2016,38000. miles.
2015 chevrolet tahoe. everytime the brake pedal was depressed, the interior lights in the vehicle would illuminate and flash causing blindness at night. this happens when stationary or in motion. spoke to dealer who stated they never heard of issue. provided them with a possible tsb #p11268 from alldata. this has occurred at least 50 times
Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chevrolet tahoe. while driving at night, the low beam headlights failed to illuminate brightly and prevented the contact from seeing the road clearly. the vehicle was taken to roger dean chevrolet (located at 101 sw pine island rd, cape coral, fl 33991, (239) 574-3326) who stated that the headlights were manufactured in that manner. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 45,000.
While driving at night there is a distinct dark section or line across the upper one-half to 3/4 of the windshield. the only way to see at all is to duck your head under it, or turn the headlights on bright. i have reported it to the dealer and he has no information on this issue. nothing has been done to correct it to date. *tr
