Dashboard cracked next to the corner of the passenger side airbag cover. noticed when i got in tahoe which is garage kept in the northeast.

Driving on highway at night. go to high beams and motor immediately begins to rev up/down, and run erratic. switch beams to normal position=it stops. when depressing key fob to open and close doors, it only works frequently. bizarre electrical issue....

'service airbag' message appeared on my dashboard screen. possibly connected to numerous cracks on passenger and driver side. vehicle has approximately 90k miles. cracks appeared when it had approximately 40k miles. dealer said it was not covered at that time.

I have two cracks in the dashboard. one is on the passenger side right near the airbag and one in one the drivers side. i have read many complainants about this issue and it puzzles me why chevy would not do a recall. my 2011 is very well taken care of so it is not neglect on my part.

Dash board cracked by passenger air bag possibly compromising safety. fearful that air bag stability has been compromised.

Dash has two cracks right above the driver's steering section near the middle. it shakes while driving and causes a tremendous distraction due to the way it flaps. this is also reflected in the windshield during normal driving on interstates and normal state roads. the movement is most noticeable at speeds above 35 mph. i have had the vehicle checked out, tires aligned and balanced, it does not help. this is a dangereous distraction and a dash should not be cracking this quickly, this is a wide problem across many gm trucks and suvs.

Ignition lock actuator bind making turning the key difficult and causing the ignition to get stuck in the start position even when turning the car off.

Dash is cracked in tow seperate areas. one above the steering wheel, and one above the passenger side air bag. this causes a major safety concern, in that if i was in an accident and the air bags deployed, flying debris could harm myself and my children. this cracks happened for no apparent reason, other than being cheaply made and installed. the vehicle was stationary and not touched when these cracks occurred.

I have a 2011 chevrolet tahoe lt and it has two cracks on the dash. one above the passenger air bag and the other above the odometer. as i search the website i am seeing more and more complaints about the same issue, especially with the gmc yukon, chevrolet tahoe, avalanche and suburban

My vehicle has a cracked dash directly above the instrument panel and over to the passenger side airbag. i heard a "pop" while the vehicle was in motion on hwy 41 in kennesaw, ga and spotted the crack after stopping to investigate.

My dash cracked out of the blue one day about two weeks ago. it started out as two small cracks on each side of the top center vent by the windshield. i have the 2011 chevy tahoe ltz version with a speaker in the middle of the dash. the speaker doesn't appear to have any support for the weight of the speaker and the dash cracks have now grown towards the instrument panel and also by the driver side airbag. the cracks are on both sides of the center speaker and now the speaker just constantly flops up and down with normal driving. the flopping speaker with no (support) is causing the crack to get worse and worse. the cracks are spider webbing now and getting much longer everyday i drive it to work. while researching what to do about this issue i discovered that several thousand complaints have been made about multiple gm model vehicles having cracked dash boards between the years of 2007 and 2014. the dash cover option being suggested to hide the cracks is in no way a safe and reliable solution to this issue because it interferes with the manufacturers airbag safety design and ...

I bought my 2011 chevrolet tahoe about 4 years ago (used, but in great condition) - within a month my dash had cracked. nothing that i did at all! my normal driving everyday keeps me with 20-30 miles maximum, on very well made roads (nothing extreme). i paid to get it fixed (the first time) and now 4 years later and it has cracked again. after the first time i paid to get it fixed, they actually didn't install the dash correctly and then said that it was my fault that it was messed up and demanded that i pay for it. i refused and said that i was done with it. it's a safety hazard because it's right above my airbags, and like i said, this is the second time in 4 years that my dashboard has cracked.

Cracks in the dash board. one near the instrument cluster and the other at the passenger side air bag.

The dash on my 2011 is cracking. it started out with a little crack and is spreading above the steering wheel.

Dash board cracking in two places- by passenger airbag and on drivers side above odometer. the cracks are progressing to larger cracks and can be of safety issue.
