Flex fuel sensor malfunction, causing check engine light to go on and inability to remote start car. verified with local third-party shop that nothing else would be causing this. did not take into local dealership as have had previous issues with incorrectly fixing a voluntary recall so we utilized the third party shop instead. located a gm special coverage bulletin (#14289) from 2014 that included our make/model regarding this specific issue, but the vin is not included in the recall. but chevrolet can not tell me why the vehicle is not included and cannot look up the specific coverage i was talking about. this has happened several times over the course of about a year, mainly in the wintertime.

Fuel pump/fuel pressure sensor failure at 34000 miles. driving vehicle at 40mph and suddenly engine warning light came on and truck died. lost all power and could barely pull to side of road in busy traffic. driving on state hwy 15 north bound. fortunately my wife was able to control the pickup. dealer repaired and said it was a relatively common problem. second complaint was wiper failure in heavy snow/wind on county hwy 29 brown cty mn. fuse block corroded and caused failure. travelling at 55mph when failure occurred. managed to drive home (2 miles) with out incident but very dangerous. the part was described by the dealer as the bcm fuse block. both of these problems were life threatening.

2014 model year chevrolet silverado 1500 and gmc sierra 1500 vehicles, equipped with e85 flex fuel capability (fhs), the flexible fuel sensor may become inoperative during normal operation due to an electrical failure caused by road salt and other environmental contaminants. with a faulty flex fuel sensor, the service engine soon light will illuminate and remote start will be inoperative.

Tl-contact owns a 2014 chevy silverado ---- had not received recall notice --- transmission coolant line leaking ---- contact paid 500.00 to have coolant lines replaced --- truck has 37000 miles on it ... 0 recalls associated with this vin... cb

Per dealership the upper ac hose that hooks to the condenser will crack due to needing a bracket that was not installed at all. the cost for me to repair is 1200 to 1500 bit why when there is a known issue will chevrolet not fix it. please respond the a.c. worked fine one day and then absolutely nothing the next day. does not cool at all. can't afford to fix a chevrolet error and prefer not to take it further. i would just like my a.c. to be fixed! please

The truck turns over but will not start and when it is running the truck will die. it's a fuel problem but don't know what fuel pump it is or if it's the fuel pressure regulator. it only has 63,000 mi.

I've had to get a new paint job because clear coat was coming off. egnition switch locked up. check engine light has come on multiple times i take it to the dealership and they say nothing is wrong with it. but tell me i can't let it get below a half tank of gas. back axles lock up. and seat belts lock when going about 50 miles per hour. and the air condenser cought on fire. now when i take it to the dealership they say they can not diagnose the problem. i have spent around $6000 in repairs

On my 2014 chevy silverado when i was filling the tank with gas the fill neck partially broke loose and i spilled about a cup of gas at a local gas station. i looked to see a plastic plug had broken causing the fill neck to come loose when fueling. i reported this to the dealer who informed me they have has "a couple dozen occurrences similar" they said they would replace the defective part with the same part. this is one fastener that needs to be metal and held in with a lock washer. (not plastic) see pix. this should be a recall item --see my fix with a metal bolt vs the defective plastic plug that comes from the factory. pls take action before someone burns up in a fire due to these fill neck fastener problem. thank you. [xxx] the vehicle was parked at a gas station when the fill neck partially broke loose and dropped down, spilling gasoline. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

When fueling vehicle, the pump stops continuously, as the handle shuts off as fuel will not flow into tank. fuel is unable to flow into tank, so handle shuts off. you have to fuel at only a trickle. you spend twenty minutes to try and fill the vehicle. if the system is for vapor control it has failed because of poor design. you spend seven times more time,, standing around playing with the fueling handle to get some fuel into the system, than a similar vehicle next to you.

Purchased new from dealer, i have already had it in for corrosion at three months, 8+ recalls. now it won't shift correctly when slowing down (stoplight) and then taking off again. it idles rough all the time and even dies at take-offs unless i can finagle the gas pedal just right. i took it in to a great dealership, they acknowledge it idles rough, however, they said gm said that is normal. the corrosion started at month 3, and progressively getting worse. i took it back in for the corrsion and gm told the dealship i am on my own to pay for the (same location) corrsion repair, as the warranty was up (36,500 miles).

I was traveling up an incline when vehicle started jumping. engine light came on, as well as stability or skid control and when turning on turn signal the wipers came on. did not feel safe but drove to nearest dealership with vehicle jumping and missing out, about 4 blocks. diagnoses was faulty fuel injector at 4577 miles on vehicle. after picking up vehicle when repair was done it missed out again but no engine light. dealership could not duplicate the problem. hope this isn't going to be ongoing issue. *tr
