We have classified the 2 complaints from 2003 Chevrolet Malibu about SEAT BELTS into the following categories.
Neither of the lap/shoulder belts hold tight. the plastic that surrounds the metal buckle has cracked and the belts will no longer keep a tight fit. child safety seats cannot be installed because the belts will not hold them in place. i called the dealer and was told the seat belts are no longer under warranty. *tr
The rear shoulder belts do not hold tight. a pastic piece broke of the buckel. it no longer hold tight causing child seats to move when buckled in.
While driving vehicle was involved in a collision. air bags did not deploy, and seat belt did not restrain consumer. *ak
