Tl* the contact owned a 2006 chevrolet impala. the contact stated that while driving in the rain at an unknown speed, the vehicle in front stopped to turn as the contact depressed the brake pedal, the wheels locked up causing the contact to rear end the vehicle. there were no warning lights illuminated. the air bags did not deploy, which was a concern to the contact as she stated that the insurance company advised her of a recall. the contact sustained injuries to the upper body but medical attention was not provided. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to a tow lot and deemed a total loss. the local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. the failure mileage was 150,000.
Due to inclement weather, vehicle was put into a deep ditch hitting a tree stopping it completely and the airbags did not deploy. the rear end of the vehicle was catapulted into the air and returned to the ground quickly after. the vehicle was in motion headed for a tee intersection where the ditch was located across the tee intersection.

Got in it the airbag light came on and it read that my airbag needed to be service it stay on for about 10 minutes and i got in later and it was off
The "service airbag system" light came on and i was told that this is a dealership only problem and the dealership wants $130.00 just to check it out. being a safety issue and a dealership fix only problem i feel like i should not have to pay for attention to this matter.

Well the code was telling me to replace the ignition switch. the current one is rather loose and doesn't turn off all the way with out a little extra which has been causing other electrical issues. and now my steering wheel is leaning and pulling to the left out of nowhere. and these all happen sitting still or moving. not so bad on the highway but city streets are hell
