Truck won't start for 10 minutes or so while in a parked position, and at times just after turning the vehicle off, it would not start. intermittent starting issue. has happened several times recently, stop to get gas and went to start truck and won't start after trying the key and popping the hood to check connections. would attempt to start vehicle and nothing happens, no sound when turning the key, but all dash lights come on, radio works, horn works when trying to start. waited a few minutes and tried again, repeated this several times after waiting a few minutes in between, then finally when trying after approximately 10 minutes, the truck would start. called onstar the first time it happened, while talking to person making arrangements to tow, attempted to start vehicle while talking to tech assistance, finally the vehicle started. all during this issue the vehicle is in a stopped stationary position, engine turned off. does not matter if in a parking lot, gas station by a pump, in my driveway or on the street parked. have taken the vehicle to the dealership, they were unable to replicate the starting issue, claiming it was my battery, they ...
My 2007 chevrolet colorado ls 4 cylinder 2.9 litre has always randomly won't start. i researched this and every year of the colorado has had this issue of randomly not starting, countless dollars have been spent trying to figure it out, chevrolet will not say it is an issue and it is a huge issue for almost every single year. passlock issue? just costed me 266.00 at the chev garage and my truck still is struggling to start, been told starter and battery are fine. alternator voltage regulator are fine. lemon please recall for this issue it's so unfair to us consumers to waste money trying to figure out a faulty design in a vehicle. go on you tube, countless people share the same issue. could get me fired from my job for my truck not starting constantly. it will start countless times then not start usually when you need it the most. estero bay chevrolet has my records.
Tl* the contact owns a 2004 chevrolet colorado. the contact stated that the interior lighting, door chime, and radio did not turn off. the vehicle was taken to mayse automotive group (2032 s elliott ave, aurora, mo 65605) where it was determined that the wires running from the rear driver's side door had to be replaced; however, the parts for the repair were no longer being manufactured. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 190,000.
Rear camera does not work 100% of the time, this has been happening for several weeks. it goes blue with no picture and a service camera message. camera was reprogrammed by dealer on 12/16/19, camera again failed on 12/17/19 - same issue. vehicle returned to dealer on 12/18/19 - camera was replaced, the morning of 12/19/19 - camera failed again. this happens when vehicle is placed in reverse and camera is supposed to activate. it also has appeared to happen as the temperatures have gotten lower here in the midwest. as vehicle warms up - camera function returns to normal.
Twice now my 2017 w/~41000 miles has gone into instant, no warning or grace period, but an instant drop to a forced 10 mph in the middle of traffic, this last time on a highway with no shoulders during rush hour. the three codes thrown the first time (i don't have the codes from the second time but the dealer is ordering a new ecm based on the u0401 code): rc (radio controls): b1325 - control module power circuit - low voltage ebcm (electronic brake control module): u0401 - invalid data received from engine control module - invalid data ecm (engine control module) p200c diesel particulate filter (dpf) high temperature along with the codes the check engine, stablitrak, and traction control lights came on - however braking was not affected! regardless, this programmed 'limp' mode is insanely reckless with total disregard for the safety and welfare of the vehicle occupants, there is absolutely no safe place or reason to deliberately cripple a vehicle while in traffic! some european manufactures at least give you a warning with several engine restarts to let you drive ...
The drivers window, when i press the down button on the control the window will start to go down then close by itself, also i had an issue today 11/13/19, i was able to get the window to roll down, but then no matter how much i tried the window wouldn't roll up..the vehicle is usually in motion when i have had the issue of the window rolling up on its own,

I have an ongoing problem with a 2011 chevrolet colorado truck not starting on numerous occasions. i have went to one dealership that could not help me after an entire day. i have talked to two other dealerships that could not help me. i have had an independent shop try to determine the problem. the truck periodically will not start and then after 15-30 minutes it will just start. the computer will not pick up anything. the battery is good. the starter is good. the alternator is good. after googling to see what others might say which did bring up issues with chevrolet, gmc, and hummer. one person said it was the ignition switch. when i ask all 3 dealerships and chevrolet customer service they all told me i was wrong. that something else was the issue and i needed to figure it out. i am not happy.
Tl* the contact owns a 2018 chevrolet colorado. while driving approximately 70 mph, the vehicle lost power, downshifted, decelerated to 20 mph, and the brake lights went out. the contact pulled into a ditch to avoid a semi truck behind his vehicle. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the contact called ressler motors at (866) 623-5535 (located at 8474 huffine ln, bozeman, mt 59718) and was informed to bring the vehicle to the shop. the contact stated that the vehicle was unsafe to drive and needed to be towed. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the failure mileage was 19,214.
