The low beams are so bad you can hardly see! i've almost wrecked several times at night and hit several curbs due to poor lighting! i replaced the current bulbs with led bulbs and it's better than it was but still not very bright! i've seen so many complaints! something needs done before more people have accidents!

The headlights on my 2014 cadillac srx are not adequate to drive safely at night. i am a 32 year old male with good vision and i have an extremely hard time seeing the road at night. after searching for fixes, i found that this is a very common problem with 2010 - 2015 model cadillac srxs.

About 6 months ago, noticed low beam visibility was very low. dealer said "common problem" needed to replace entire lighting unit ($800 each side). now after having time to research, finding it is a common problem with other srx owners. did change bulbs, but that was no help. cadillac needs to step forward and remedy the problem.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 cadillac srx. while driving at night, the low beam headlights did not function properly and the illumination was too low without warning. the contact had to activate the high beams in order to see the road. the dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 59,280. the vin was unknown.

Headlamps have condensation build up and the low beams do not provide enough light to drive. last night i almost had an accident trying to go somewhere and had to take corrective measures to keep from driving into a ditch that i could not see. this is incredibly dangerous and we almost wrecked because the low beams give off almost no light to the roadway.

The headlights while on low beam are not bright enough causing a potential safety issue. the lack of brightness is much more exsagrated when driving in night rain condituons.

Both headlights are very diminishing making it hard to see at night time.

We purchased a 2014 srx used and wish we would have looked at reviews prior to purchase. it is to bad gm knows there is a problem with the low beam headlights and won't recall them. friday night we were turning into a business and could not see the driveway because of the headlights so dim. i am taking it to the dealer on monday because it is extremely dangerous to drive at night.

Unsafe to drive at night - the low beams on this car as so dim that you cannot drive it safely at night. cadillac refuses to accept there is an issue. multiple class action lawsuits have been launched and this same complaint is all over the internet. i can't understand why nhsta hasn't looked into this problem since it presents dangerous situation and affects multiple cadillac models fro 2010 to 2015. problem continues to worsen as the car ages. please look into the obvious safety hazard.

Headlight is holding moisture and clouding up which is causing little to no vision at all at night while driving on the highway headlights on srx's are bad as far as vision goes at night and i see hundreds of complaints from other owners.

Headlights can't see with current headlights and there are 100's of complaints for this. this has been a problem since the day i purchased this srx 2014 cadillac srx and all other srx owners i have spoke to about this feel that gm has released a automobile with know safety problems that these headlights are..

The headlight range on my 2014 srx is so bad that i was hardly able to see the road at night while driving thru the black hills of south dakota on rte 16 this past weekend. the people in the car with me noticed the lack of light range and suggested i look into replacing my headlights. i was white knuckled the entire drive. it's a miracle we are still alive.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 cadillac srx. the contact stated that the low beam headlights did not work. the contact used the high beams to drive at night. the vehicle was taken to fields cadillac st. augustine (904-823-3000, located at 375 outlet mall blvd, st augustine, fl 32084) where it was diagnosed that the electrical component was faulty and the headlight component needed to be replaced. the technician stated that there was no recall because the vehicle was manufactured in new york. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 cadillac srx. the contact stated that the low beam headlights started to dim approximately two years ago. the failure worsened to the point that the high beam headlights had to be utilized while driving at night. on april 14, 2019, the contact received a letter from the manufacturer stating that if the low beam headlamp system had to be replaced, and the contact would be reimbursed for the repair cost. the vehicle was taken to williamson cadillac (7815 sw 104th st, miami, fl 33156) where it was determined that the low beam headlight system needed to be replaced; however, the program had ended. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 50,900.
