Tl* the contact owns a 2007 cadillac escalade. the contact recently purchased the vehicle from a used car dealer and was informed that the vehicle was included in an unknown recall. the contact was informed to take the vehicle to a cadillac dealer. in addition, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. the contact took the vehicle to central cadillac (2801 carnegie ave, cleveland, oh 44115, (216) 586-5807) and was informed that the part was not available for the repair. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that there was no remedy. the contact was forwarded to nhtsa. the failure mileage was approximately 149,000. vin tool confirms parts not available.
