Tl* the contact owns a 2002 cadillac deville. the contact stated that the brake pin detached when she depressed the brake pedal. she contacted a local cadillac dealer who will have someone inspect the vehicle. the dealer stated that they had never before seen that type of failure. the dealer had the vehicle since the failure occurred on april 27, 2007. the contact stated that as a result of the failure there was some property damage it crashed into a fence. the current and failure mileages were 45,000. *ak unknown 06/08/07. *jb

While driving 55 mph consumer's vehicle collided with the vehicle in front. consumer applied the brakes, but consumer's vehicle had already crashed into the other vehicle. upon impact, both frontal air bags did not deploy driver sustained minor injuries, and was taken to the hospital. vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection, but dealer failed to resolve the problem. *ak

The abs braking system failed while applying the brakes while driving about 30 mph on the highway. as a result the vehicle had a collision with a parked vehicle. there were no fatalities to report. the dealer was aware of the problem. *ak the brake pedal traveled to the floor while braking. the vehicle was towed to the dealership and repaired. *ph *nlm
