My car has been blowing light bulbs very frequently. i noticed that the wire what is chard and burned and naked resulting in the wires touching each other and causing my lights to fail. i replace the wiring harness once and two months later the insulation was burnt off of the wire again. there has been 2 instances where ive been driving and my headlights have went completely out at night time and i live in a rural area where there's not a lot of street lights. it almost caused me to wreck. it's not just my vehicle that has this issue. i have three friends who either drive a regal themselves or have a close family member that has one and all three of them have told me that they're experiencing the same issues. this is definitely a safety concern. and if it were to happen to somebody else who was maybe not so lucky it could have caused a fatal accident.

I was backing my car into my driveway and then i shut off engine, radio still playing, then all of a sudden lights started dimming and the anti theft went into action. whole car shut down, not even remotes would work. got the hood opened and discovered a melting wire connected to the negative side. thank god i was home when it happened. could this have caught fire inside my garage? my car is currently at turner toyota in montrose colorado. was inquiring if this is a malfunction with wiring harness. so far its costing us 800.00 dollars in repair, which i dont have my car back as of today. i would like this matter closely looked at for a safety recall due to the matter things could have been alot worse.

Whenever i am driving my vehicle for an hour it starts to stall or sputter in traffic and the engine dies completely. it will restart but still continues to hesitate when accelerating. i've taken it to a mechanic and no error codes pop up when this happens so they do not know the cause or how to fix the issue.
Takata recall - there is an issue with the ballast in the hid headlamp assembly for the cxl turbo model. the seal may be faulty due to the headlamp shorting out except for the daytime running lights. they shorted out right after a heavy downpour and i was stopped by a police officer and told that they (the headlights) were out. i got out of the vehicle and looked at the the lights only to realize that they had malfunctioned and there was moisture in the assembly itself.
2011 buick regal purchased from show room floor in 2011. presentative maintenance up to date. no warning lights. something terribly wrong with transmission, engine. while driving on city street approaching interstate at 25 mph, car starting stalling, puttering, losing power. pulled over, put in park. then car would not go into gear. would accelerate but would not go into gear or move. had to be towed. first thing dealer service center suggest is $3000 transmission. car only has 60,000 miles, one owner. no way! no prior symptoms or warning lights, in fact onstar diagnostics currently showing no issues found with engine/transmission system. this car is unsafe and should be recalled!!! 2011 buick regal diagnostics report from your 2011 buick regal as of 07/08/2019 no issues found
When driving the vehicle it stops out of nowhere and cuts back on. there is a burning/melting smell coming from the back of the vehicle. once the car is off sometimes the battery is drained. the driver side head light keeps getting moisture inside and causes the bulb to go out.
