While driving my engine light came on, and i smelled gas. i brought the car to a shop to have it repaired. there is a gas leak from rollover valve on the gas tank. was recalled in 2009, repaired by the dealer. i have just bought the car used and found that the same problem is occurring again. with some research i found out that the dealer fixed the problem with epoxy.

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 audi allroad. while driving at an unknown speed, burning fumes emitted into the vehicle. after inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed that a fire erupted near the turn signals and the steering column area. the contact was able to extinguish the flames with water. the vehicle was towed to a repair shop and later to a dealer for inspection and diagnostic testing. the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign numbers: 08v157000 (fuel system, gasoline), 06v198000 (electrical system), and 04v133000 (electrical system). the manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided no remedy. the approximate failure mileage was 162,000.
