While driving my 2019 mdx i noticed that the back-up camera was on remaining on, and i could see the road behind by vehicle. i pulled off the road and turned the car off and then restarted thinking this would correct the problem; however it did not correct the problem. i also noticed that the lights that indicate that i am backing up remain on even when the car is in park. inside of the vehicle, the climate control isn't working. the car appears to be "safe" to drive, with the exception of the distraction from the backup camera remaining on; and, not being able to defrost/defog the windows or warm the car. the acura dealer in ardmore, pa will be servicing the car on 02-10-2020.
Hfl module # 39770-stx-a011-m1 stopped working preventing connection to my cell phone. 2009 mdx with 92,004 miles. called all the dealerships in my area and others on the internet and no one has the module. i was told by them it's on national back order for sone time now ( 2/5/2020 ) . doing further research brought to light there is a 2016 or 2017 class action suit on this hfl module/system failing and draining power from the battery, causing premature failure of said battery, which also happened to me as well as no start conditions which also has happened to me. so far no stall outs with the vehicle moving. i currently have a hfl module on order from acura and was told because their on back order it could be several months before they get their order. also they want my old module which they added a $50.00 core charge to the price. though there maybe just a few official complaints listed here just check the web. there is obviously a fault in these modules and the manufacture is either doing reverse failure analysis on the returned modules or wirse yet fixing ...

Over the past two years have had to inexplicably jump mdx when it fails to start, usually after sitting over night. (confirmed no auxiliary power left on.) will be fine for a period of time, and symptoms reappear. have now changed battery twice in past year. four months after most recent battery change, battery was dead again. this time after jumped the car threw some additional warning lights around charging system. after trying to return to the parking space, the car started was not driving properly, seems to be electrical. after reading forums online my symptoms match very closely to others that have a handsfreelink issue on this model mdx. (parasitic power draw.) contacting acura today, as this time the car is not drive-able.

Power windows and sunroof stared working intermittently for a few days and then stopped working all-together. apparently, there is a known issue with wires breaking inside driver door sub-wire, acura part number 32757-stx-a01. my car only has 101,768 miles. i did some research online and i saw people having the same issue with their acura mdx vehicles.
Since owners and on 4 specific occasions. while driving at high speed upon acceleration at 70 mph auto went dead. lost all power. after eight minutes auto restarted. 9 months ago, while placed into reveres to auto self accelerated t high speed. after brakes applied and vehicle placed into drive vehicle accelerated at a hgh rate of speed. lock brakes put vehicle into neutral restarted. one month ago while turning left into traffic at a major intersection, car brakes applied awaiting left turn against traffic. went to accelerate, car dash lights went wild all begin bling rapidly, dash went black, abs brakes and brake pedal went to floor car went by itself into neutral. took over 8 minutes to restart. on 9/24.19 tuesday at 1:41 pm while traveling west bound on interstate 90, at 74 mph while passing a semi truck as i passed the truck, with a clear distance and proceeded to turn into the right driving lane in front of the truck as i pulled right the vehicle dash went black, the abs and brake peddle went to the floor and the car decelerated rapidly from 74 to 50 mph within a second. the ...

Speed control would not engage. this has happened before. auto brakes engaged while driving down city street at 40 mph in outside lane of 4 lane road. no cars in front or immediately to my left. fortunitly there were no cars/trucks behind me. car came to suddened stop engaging the seat belts. after stopping i put put on gas again and drove 2 more blocks before i parked car for 2+ hours. called dealership & drove to service department for repair. dealer kept car overnight and said there were no issues they could find by driving or checking diagnostic computer records. so there was nothing they could do. these electrical issues have appeared and could not be duplicated in the past 20 months......1 - suddended emergency braking - 1x, speed control not engaging - 3 times, passenger side mirror not closing - 10+ times, car locking or not unlocking doors with key inside car - 3 times. once will at airport and with car running.
