Headlights continue to burn out. we have changed one or both headlights at least six times since may 2015. this happens unexpectedly, going down the road at night one or both headlights will burn out. when you change them, will last a couple weeks to months. very scary when going down a two lane back country road at night. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 toyota prius. the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the radio, turn signals, interior lights and dashboard lights functioned intermittently independently. the vehicle was taken to a dealer who was unable to diagnose or repair the vehicle. however, the failure persisted. the vehicle was then taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the wiring harness in the vehicle was coated with soy and that an animal chewed on it causing the failure. the technician diagnosed that the entire wiring harness needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 114,413. updated 09/22/16*lj updated 10/05/16.*jb

2010 toyota prius. consumer writes in regards to safety recall 18v-684. *ld the consumer stated the vehicle experienced a loss of power due to the faulty failsafe driving mode. the consumer no longer owns the vehicle. *js

The vehicle runs ok and a few minutes later the yellow triangle turns on, as well as the check engine light and the vehicle starts to lose power. after a few more minutes the red steering wheel light comes on along with the "check hybrid system" message and the rest of the lights and the vehicles loses all power and stops. it will normally turn back on but there was one occasion where it didn't and my husband had to push the car to a parking lot. i took the car in on the recall which should cover this but all they did was update the software and blame the issue on a car accident. i don't know if this is true as just purchased the vehicle but it sounds to me that they could have fixed the issue under the recall.

We purchased the car used from a toyota dealership in spring of 2013. we had never had to replace the headlights until one side had stopped working in may 2015. as we always have done with our vehicles, we went to an auto parts store and bought the correct head lights for our make, year & model. we replaced both of them in may and in august (3 months later), both had gone out with the initial outage having occured while i was using them in the dark on a freeway. luckily i had brights that still worked but i have since had to replace both lights again and they still remain un-working. i am scheduling repairs, however, this seems to be a major defect either in the electrical engineering or possibly related to fuse shortages. we have made several phone calls to repair shops, other prius owners, as well as read many safety concern forums regarding this very popular issue even with 2010 models. i understand toyota seems to take no responsibility for the high-risk headlight failure in prius models up to 2009 but this seems flat out ridiculous and i should not be required to return home before dark or be forced to drive with my brights while oncoming traffic flashes at me as if i'm being inconsiderate.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 toyota prius. the contact stated that while driving at night approximately 55 mph, the headlights were very deem and visibility was diminished. after inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed that the passenger side low beam headlight was out and two days later the driver side low beam failed. the light bulbs were replaced. the contact mentioned that the low beam headlight bulbs were replaced a total of four times. the vehicle was never taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to get a diagnosis. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 99,000.

I was driving home from havenlock, nc on us 70, us 258, us 58 and us 264. i noticed that my low beam headlights were very dim making it very hard to see road marking or signs. there is a stretch of us 58 where they are repaving and they are no road marking at all and i could not see where my lane (2 way traffic). i considered this a very serious problem that the headlight are dim and could have led to a very serious accident. i have noticed that others have complained about the same problem with the prius 2010. not able to see more than 30 feet ahead on a very dark night is very scary and had me shaking.

Keeps blowing the low beam on the passenger side , 6 times in 6 months.

On may 30, 2015, our home burned to the ground. the firefighters are certain the cause of the fire was my 2010 prius - they know the fire started in the rear of the garage, the only other item in that area was a bicycle. arson, faulty wiring and accidents were ruled out. investigations continue, but they have identified an arc between the battery and the relay switch. my homeowners insurance carrier (erie) is trying to decide whether they should expend the additional $1,500 to open the relay switch box to see if they can determine if the arc was the cause of the fire, or a result. from the video footage, it is obvious that the water being poured onto the garage increased the intensity of the fire, which was due to the magnesium battery. thestarpress.com has all the video: http://www.thestarpress.com/videos/news/2015/06/03/28436619/ we were trapped in an upstairs bedroom for 40 minutes - and given up for dead before the 911 operators heard my labored breathing over the still-open phone line. a heroic firefighter threw himself through the wall of our second-story bedroom to rescue us. my husband was not breathing when he was removed from home, but we have both recovered. we had been out to dinner earlier in the evening, but the car had been parked in our garage for several hours. i have heard of many other prius fires, and wanted to alert you to our experience.

I recently replaced one of the low beam headlights, only to discover a few weeks later that both of the low beams had burned out. i've never had two headlights burn out at the same time! tonight i discovered that another of the low beams has burned out. that means that this bulb burned out in less than two months and only about 1000 miles. i am afraid to use my headlights during the daytime for fear that they will burn out and not be available when i need them to see again at night. this must be a wiring/configuration defect! please do something about this! *tr

After returning to vehicle, low beam headlights failed to properly illuminate. i replaced both bulbs with new ones, and they still fail to cast enough light. the bulbs appear to be on, but are too dim to be effective. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 toyota prius. while driving 45 mph and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle stalled without warning. the vehicle was able to be pulled over. the vehicle was restarted and resumed normal operation. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer and the failure recurred. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 78,000.

The dash display mph and mileage totally went black. looked it up on the internet and seems like it is a common problem for the 2010 toyota prius. sounds like toyota use to cover this before this year model, but not now, even though it is still happening. they may have done their dash alittle different, but it is still having the same problem. *tr

Most prius 2008-2009-2010-2011 they all have a big problem on the multi-information display do not show not thing when the car is cold after 10 or 15 minutes the display show. it's danger because the driver can not see how fast he is driving of if and thing wrong with the car you can not see the display. most of my friend have this problem. i called the dealer and they say ther is no recall. i try to send a photo with my message and the photo can not add on to my message. this might be some thing that you might not know ! if you try to call my cell phone and if i do not pick up my call ! please leave a message and i will call you ! because i am driving on the road every day. thank you for helping me with this information above ! this problem been going on for 5 months. *tr

My brakes has always had a weak feel and it would lose stopping power when braking on a bumpy road. its almost like, the brakes releases when you hit a bump. there are currently two recalls for the 2010 prius but for some reason, my vin number is not included in it. is there any way we can get the dealer to perform the recall? its just a software computer update, but i have a feeling they will not do it since my vin is not included in the recall. even though i experience the symptoms of the 2 brake recalls for the 2010 prius. thank you.

Toyota has issued a warranty enhancement program for certain vehicles to extend the warranty for certain internal malfunctions of the intelligent power module {\9ipm). this warranty is extended for 15 years. in the event this described condition in the enhancement program occur, and, if verified, an appropriate remedy will be performed. however toyota further states, "the warning lights and stored hybrid system diagnostic trouble codes (dtcs) can be triggered due to conditions detected not specific to the inverter assembly and its internal components. these additional conditions may require diagnosis or repairs not specifically covered by this warranty enhancement. please be aware that if the condition is not covered by this warranty enhancement, you may be responsible for the initial diagnostic fees and any other repairs you may "decide" to have performed. any authorized toyota dealership can determine if a condition is covered by this warranty enhancement. my local toyota dealership, larry miller toyota, has already recommended costly inspections to be performed for the hybrid battery coolant system, which have not been recommended by a toyota technical service bulletin or any other qualified engineering person at toyota. now toyota is asking the owners to trust their dealer's if what the dealer's are deciding needs to be performed. the toyota dealers do not engineer, test nor manufacture the vehicle. toyota corporation is responsible for the condition of the vehicle not the dealer. what specifically may cause the dtcs to be triggered to simulate a problem with the ipm? what are these conditions, are they a serious safety risk and, how can i as a consumer, be 100% confident that if a dtc condition occurs in my vehicle what exactly is the cause. ii the dealer is left to decide, will i be treated fairly. toyota is the car manufacturer not their dealers. *tr

Vehicle was being driven when a smell of smoke was detected. upon stopping, smoke came from the engine compartment. within 3 minutes the vehicle started on fire, extending to the roll up garage door. the fire burned the engine compartment, passenger area, garage door and siding before the fire department extinguished. *tr

Driving home at night going approximately 40 mph both low beam head lights went out at the same time. turned on the high beam and they worked ok. bought new bulbs the next day and installed but did not resolve the problem. *tr

2010 toyota iv prius: returning home at night in a dark, rural country area of pennsylvania. windy, two-lane road with frequent opposing traffic. left front headlight goes out making it very difficult to see with remaining headlight. switched to high beams which worked ok until opposing traffic appeared and had to switch back to low beam (singular). a dangerous situation with opposing headlights in your eyes and not enough light from my own car to illuminate the road in front of me. later, it turned out that the headlamp bulb was ok and "something" was making it either intermittent or go out completely. sometimes striking the headlight lens assembly with the heel of your hand would get the light to come back on. my wife recently was cited for driving with a headlight out in our local area. this is not a safe situation and the local dealer says he can't help us. *tr

The hybrid inverter assembly failed when i tried to accelerate from a stop onto a rural highway. this occurred approximately two months after receiving the motor generator ecu and power management ecu software update that was intended to prevent this type of failure.i was notified of this update/recall in late march 2014 and had the update completed at a authorized toyota service center. *tr

My prius was recalled to limit current in the main power inverter as they are failing. these inverters are still failing even after the software modification. toyota extended the warranty on the inverter as they know it could fail. i don't want to be stranded before they will address the problem!

Was traveling about 65 mph on route 11 in ct when red lights come on and car slows to 20 mph.pulle to side of road and called aaa/towed to hartford toyota in hartford ct. first told it was a hybrid battery then told it was the inverter which they said is on back order. now i,m getting the run around from the main office in california.. brought car in for a recall on software update in feb 2014 and from what i read this may cause the invert to fail thanks for your attention in this matter. *tr

June 2, 2016 two years ago my original headlights finally burned out. since that time i have been replacing bulbs about every 3 to 4 months, with the last bulbs lasting only 2 months. once one of the low beams bulbs burns out the other bulb burns out almost immediately. i have joined the prius chat forum and have learned that this is a very common and ongoing complaint. it seems toyota has elected to ignore this problem. the bulb on the passenger side is most difficult to replace, with me having to move the windshield reservoir out of the way. i am guessing this started about 2 years ago.

I was leaving a parking space and exiting the parking area when both headlights went off leaving me in the dark. i pulled over and turned them on and off several times but nothing happened. i had the running lights, the turn signals, the high beams but no low beams. i drove home with my high beams on. i went today and replaced both bulbs then tried the lights again. nothing. i took the bulbs back and exchanged them and still no headlights. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 toyota prius. the contact stated that the instrument panel was unreadable due to fog. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 23,618.

One of the headlights (low beam) stopped working sometimes in 2013, then it came back. over the course of 2013-2014, the front right light went out and i had the light bulb replaced. then it died again. i replaced both bulbs based on the aftermarket recommendation but the lights are not bright enough. the front left parking light also died twice. something is screwy with the electrical for the lights. *tr

(40) fleet 2010 toyota prius. consumer writes in regards to vehicles headlights malfunction. *smd the consumer stated he had to routinely replace 7-8 headlamps per week on the fleet of 40 vehicles. the dealer informed the consumer the frequent burnout of the bulbs was likely due to wither security officers not properly caring for the vehicle or the vehicles being used more frequently for personal use. also, the wiring harness failed on the vehicles. the consumer stated there is currently 1 vehicle in the shop now, and the dealer quoted a price of $8,000.00 to replace the wiring harness.*jb

The low beam bulb lamp came loose from its housing - melting the socket, and while still "working" did not provide proper illumination for night driving and perhaps posed a fire hazard. upon taking to the dealer, they replaced the entire unit (for $720.08) and have ordered a retrofit bracket (it is on back order) that they will installed to prevent re-occurrence. seems there is a problem - they know it - but the public bares the cost and possible safety issues associated with the problem. they are not taking any proactive action to install a retrofit bracket to prevent the working lamp on the opposite side of the car from dislodging and causing a similar problem. *tr

Vehicle was stopped at a red light with engine running. engine suddenly stopped and would not restart. a check hybrid signal appeared on the dashboard and vehicle would not move in the middle of a busy intersection. it had to be towed. *tr

Fuse box cover left loose by dealer after prius recall service. in the process of doing the engine software update for the prius recall, apparently the toyota dealer technician failed to engage the hooks & tabs at the back of the fuse box cover, and just "clicked" the front latch; this left the fuse box cover loose and exposed to water penetration. the loose fuse box cover might permit water to enter the fuse box compartment, causing a short. the short could shut-down car electrical systems causing a catastrophic shut-down of engine, air bags, power brakes, etc. this could easily result in loss of life, when the engine stops and safety systems (air bags) fail due to the short; this similar to the gm ignition recall issue. this is especially critical in a "drive-by-wire" car like the prius. ==>the toyota prius recall is being done improperly (at least occasionally), leading to a much more serious safety issue. the could lead to passenger injury or death, at any time, without warning. *tr

My 2010 prius has had an ongoing problem with the main headlamps blowing, becoming inoperative and effectively leaving me with diminished visibility. this has happened approximately every 3 months since march 2014. either one or both headlamps will blow. this is due to a known problem with this model and is covered under a toyota/nhtsa service bulletin (tsp-0204-12). in my case, i purchased the car used, from a toyota dealer with the toyota certified car warranty, but this failure of the wiring harness is apparently not covered. judging by the percentage of complaints in the safercar.gov database for this model, this is a common problem and my experience has been typical. in the most recent incident, it was raining heavily and i ended up driving 150 miles with a blown headlamp, unsafe for me and unsafe for those whom i shared the road with. *tr

After driving for a combined time of 4 hours in a 5 hour period, my wife left a store she visited off zebulon road and i-475 near macon ga. when attempting to re-enter southbound i-475 the car failed and would not accelerate. a few seconds after the drive system shut down and would not restart. the dash indicators said check hybrid power system. the car was towed to a dealer rogers toyota in macon ga, where it now is. the dealer says that the problem was the engine control module though the inverter is being replaced under an existing recall issued last week. it is not clear if the engine control module is covered by the recall. *tr

I purchased a certified used 2010 toyota prius from the east coasts number one certified used toyota dealer. i was presented with papers showing all the checks performed with a certified used toyota and that the vehicle i was purchasing had pass all the inspections. i test drove the vehicle during the day and did not use the headlights. once i was home (over 3 hours away) i used the headlights for the first time in the next few days. the driver's side lights were very dim. i took the low beam bulb out and notice a lot of corrosion on the bulb and moisture in the headlamp assembly. i let it dry out and replaced both the drivers and passenger side low beam light bulbs. over the summer i noticed a few time moisture would build up but would be gone within a few days. now during the winter the moisture has frozen inside the driver side headlamp assembly and impedes on the effectiveness of the headlamp. my visibility is reduced and has now become a safety issue. i have not owned the vehicle for a full year yet and even purchased the top of the line extended toyota warranty. my local dealer stated it was not covered under any warranty and that would cost around $500 to be replaced. toyota has a technical service bulletin on this issue and should repair at no cost to owners due to a safety hazard. *tr

I started noticing a high pitch noise sporadically on my car after it was a few months old. if i stopped and restarted the car, the noise would go away. when i brought it to toyota they could not reproduce the problem. it would happen about 1-3 times per month and some months not at all. on this particular trip about a month ago, i did not notice the noise on start up (i had a cold that affected my hearing), but did hear it after getting on the highway. there was no where to reasonably pull over and restart the car safely, so i kept driving. after about 15-30 minutes the speedometer cluster/dash that displays the speed, fuel and drive position went blank and the noise went away. searching online there were at least a handful of others who either had their speedometer replaced under warranty or otherwise with the same issue. i also found a recall on the 2009, a year earlier, prius for the same issue and yes the same company makes the part. i brought my car to the dealer asap and the dealer wanted to charge me $120 to diagnose. when i questioned them, they said they need to take the dash apart, which is a lie as this would be more expensive as per our conversation. i asked for a quick computer diagnosis and they refused. i then called toyota who said my car is long out of warranty for this part and that because i didn't pay for a diagnosis they would not take it further. when i pressed on with them they hid behind confidentiality when i asked about others who had this issue and then they said even if i paid for a diagnosis and this was found defective there are no promises. they want ~$1,200 to fix this defect. *tr

The instrument panel visibility had diminished to the extent that when driving in bright sun lit days the instruments were un readable, as the incident light from the surrounding area in the vehicle washed out the display visibility. not being able to read the panel, especially the speed, becomes dangerous. the service department checked the 12 volt battery and found that it was not as it should be. battery was replaced.. thinking that could be the problem, and after reviewing the info available from the manufacturer they thought it would solve the problem. it has not. this condition does not exist at night when the rheostat dimmer is activated. the dimmer does not affect the display when in the dimmer off, or on, in the daylight. *js

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 toyota prius. the contact stated that while driving approximately 15 mph, the engine stalled without warning. upon restarting, the vehicle resumed normally but the failure later recurred. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis where the volt battery was replaced. the manufacturer was not notified of the defect. the approximate failure mileage was 49,312. ..updated 10/30/13 *bf updated 10/31/13*lj the consumer stated the dealership did not put the engine guard on the vehicle properly, the engine cover detached, the tires went flat frequently, lights needed to be replaced, and the battery completely powered off. a separate dealership informed the consumer that the vehicle was defective. the consumer stated that the second time the vehicle shut down was at 60 mph the vehicle powered off 10 within 10 minutes on the same day during rush hour. updated 11/4/2013 *js the consumer stated the vehicle powered off twice while driving on the highway. the first time it happened, she was driving 15 mph and the second time it happened she was driving 60 mph and she lost power all together.

The left side of my electrical panel that displays the warning lights and the odometer went dark. *tr

I was driving with the flow of traffic (around 30 mph) on a main surface street in a middle lane of a multilane street when suddenly the engine stopped, and i was unable to make the engine respond. the car immediately began to slow down; i could not make it accelerate to keep in the flow of traffic. i managed to carefully drift over to the right and maneuver through an intersection and glide to a stop on the right side of the road. i turned off the engine and repeatedly tried to restart it to no avail. i called for towing service and had the car towed to my toyota dealer, where the service people said it was an "internal failure" and replaced the inverter assembly. what has terrified me is that i could have been on the freeway driving at least 60 mph, where the consequences would be devastating to me and others. i asked if toyota would be reporting this to the nhtsa, and they said that was an internal determination. i asked if this had happened before to others and did not receive a clear answer. *tr

While driving at ca. 20 mph a sudden jolt and clunk occurred and the car was stalled. various dashboard lights came on, and the dash displayed "check hybrid system." towed to a toyota dealer, the problem was stated to be a failed inverter-converter that needed to be replaced. *tr

When flashing the low beams/high beams on/off i routinely blow the low beam bulbs. not both at the same time but eventually both will blow. i understand from reading forums that this is a known problem however toyota will not address it unless you are under the 36k warranty. this should be a mandatory recall.

I nearly hit a person while backing out of my driveway. the person was yelling but i could not hear them. good thing they moved quickly. my radio was off and i was not using a cell phone. however the prius beeps loudly inside the cabin while in reverse. it is loud, distracting and frankly annoying. our toyota highlander does not beep while in reverse. no other car i ever owned or operated beeped inside while in reverse. some larger vehicles have an external beeper but none that i know beep inside. the dealer told me the beeping was necessary to remind me i was in reverse. the car is part electric so they say i need the beeper to know i am in reverse. that argument is plain stupid for the obvious reasons. the dealer stated that electric hybrids must have an internal reverse beeper by law. i think beeper is a hazard ie: i almost ran someone over. is the reverse beeper indeed a law ? can i get it disabled ? *tr

My back-up camera went dark & stopped working in the center console. this rendered the entire console inoperable; navigation, radio, bluetooth, etc. i went to the toyota dealer, & called toyota. i was told this happens with jbl equipment, & it is not covered under warranty. my vehicle only has 43,252 miles on it. they told me that i could pay $2500 for a refurbished camera/console. this does not seem to be fair to the consumer. i do not like driving around without the back-up camera--a safety feature, & this is a known problem to toyota & their dealers. toyota should extend the warranty on this center console on this model. *tr

Our 2010 prius suffered a near total power failure on 5/10/13 when the car suddenly and without any advanced warning, lost power decelerating from about 35 mph to about 4 mph in less than 5 seconds. every idiot light came on at once on the dash panel and a "hybrid system failure" notice came up on the alphanumeric display. luckily, i was on a city street and not the highway when this happened. i was able to get the car safely off to the side of the road and call for a tow. our prius has approx. 44000 miles on it, is regularly maintained at the dealer, not mistreated in any way and gave no advanced warning indication that there was anything wrong with the electrical/propulsion system. the car lost almost total power, limped about 50 feet past parked cars and just died at the curb after i put it in park. it would light up across the dash, but never start the engine. we have had this car about 36 months. as this is my wife's car, i am greatly worried about the safety of the car and having this problem happening again, especially to her at high speed, multi-lane highway driving. it has been repaired at a local toyota dealership. they installed a new 12v battery and eventually the main fix, a inverter/converter. the car now runs like day one. however, how do we trust this car in the future if it did not give any warning of imminent propulsion failure ? i am getting nowhere with toyota about their providing some kind of advanced warning to get the car onto the shoulder of the road and keep it running for about 1 - 5 minutes. thank you *tr

This has happened several times over the past two years. as i brake at low speeds, the car surges ahead as though your foot is on the accelerator. sometimes it was so subtle, you wondered if it really happened. today (11/23/14) there was absolutely no mistaking it. the car surged forward a couple of feet as i was slowing to turn left. if someone had been stopped in front of me, i would have hit them from behind. *tr

The display that shows the speed indicator and which gear you are in has a double image and looks as though it is out of focus. the rest of the display to the right looks fine. i took it to my local toyota dealer and asked them to fix it and they said that this problem is on all gen iii priuses. he took me to a brand new 2013 prius and it to had the same problem. i believe this is a hazard and should be fixed. here is a link to a website that talks about it. http://priuschat.com/threads/why-the-double-image.60604/ . *tr

Starting my vehicle and leaving my garage at 2 mph the master warning light, check hybrid system light, and malfunction indicator/check engine light were all lit up. with a terrible smell electrical/fuel. i immediately shut the car off and let it sit. after a few seconds i tried again with the same result. the owners manual says to not drive and contact toyota dealer immediately. when the tow truck arrived i again tried to start the vehicle and the warnings were not present. the dealer investigated and said it was over ethanol in the fuel. the fuel has been tested and found to be 6-8%, which is acceptable. the dealer at the time of the repair wanted $450 to drop and clean the tank. instead i chose to go with the phillips toyota (leesburg florida, phone 352-728-2030) dealer service manager, david newton to the closest gas station and fill up. since then there has not been a problem, but i am concerned for my safety in now driving the vehicle. as this is a hybrid which i purchased to help our country with energy security (56 mpg) but am afraid as a retiree with my wife that this could have ended differently if we were on the interstate traveling. with the reputation of toyota and the unexpected acceleration we are concerned that the initial problem has not been found and will recur. this could happen on the interstate highway with a much different outcome. i am reporting this to go on record with this problem just in case an accident or fatality is involved the next time, if it happens again. thank-you and i can email my file which has been sent to [email protected] under their reference#[xxx], and florida division of consumer services, [xxx]. i have also requested a meeting with the toyota corporation representative through the dealer service mgr. [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

My commute is 62 miles, one way. tonight i realized my low beam headlights were not working. my high beams work. i drove the 62 miles with my high beams on. the fuses were fine. it is odd that both low beam lights were out at the same time but the high beams were fine. i searched online some and there were numerous similar problems with the prius low beam lights. *tr

2010 toyota prius at dealership for 25000 mile service. on 11/07/2012 at 1700 the dealership called and reported that the car is "infested with rodents." stated that headliner is saturated with urine/ feces, air and cabin air filters destroyed, wires chewed, rodents found to be living in dashboard, in door interiors, and other areas. reported that this was "the worst case we've seen." car is owned by two professionals- no children who would have dropped food and no food ever eaten in vehicle. purchased new from this same dealership 01/02/2011. dealership now reports that the car is a health/ safety hazard and could cost "thousands" to repair. our internet research revealed that rodent infestation is common in the toyota prius, reportedly because rodents are able to gain easy access through the car's ventilation system. owners reported contacting toyota, who denied liability and denied request for assistance. *tr
