Problems with 2003 Infiniti G35 AIR BAGS

Lost control of car on ice going 55, car went airborne 70 feet came down hit a truck, car was totaled. passenger airbag went off but drivers did not deploy, suffered a concussion, hit head on steering wheel.

The car won't back up when it's on reverse, sometimes it won't move at all even when it's on drive.

Airbag warning light started flashing(red) for no reason while i was driving. which means it is inactive.

Tl* the contact owns a 2003 infiniti g35. the contact started the vehicle and the air bag warning indicator illuminated continuously. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and dealer and both confirmed that the front driver side air bag module would need to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 82,000. updated 03/11/16*lj *cn

My vehicle air bag light on. stays on inspected at dealer. they stated air bag will not work during a possible accident, safety issue.

I had pulled up to drive thru window at the bank and put my car in park, with the engine running, when i finished my transaction i tried to put my car in drive but the gear shifter wouldn't move. i finally shut my car off and waited a few seconds and started it again and the shifter worked. it has also happened to me when i have started my car and tried to put it in reverse. it is intermittent. i also have an air bag sensor light flashing and hope they will include my vin # in the recall but they haven't so far. even in the expanded recall. i don't know why. when does our safety become important? my stereo/cd player also stopped working and i had to replace that. what good does all of these repetitive complaints do if the auto companies aren't made to repair all of them? *tr

On my way home from work at approximately 10;30pm on a two lane highway i was the second person to hit a horse,. 17 hand horse lying in the road, a person headed north hit and tossed the dead horse in my south lane. , . my car hit the horse, flipped several times then rolled down and embankment until the car came to a stop.........it dug into the dirt and grass until it came to a halt,. when the car stopped i was passenger side down, neither air bags deployed?. i have suffered the past two years, mentally, physically and financially. a horse owner isn't held liable in the state of georgia. doctor bills , stress and pain that might have been prevented if my air bugs had deployed, either one if them . i'm angry, in pain both physically and financially and, my family tells me i have aged 10 years i. need help understanding why neither the driver's or passenger's air bags deployed? why did my car fail so miserably. surely infinity new they had problems with 2003 air bags by 2012 ? The airbag light has been on in my 2003 infinity g35 since the beginning of the year. i have recently taken the car to a reputable repair shop, and was not pleased to find that in this condition the airbag will not deploy. i have since found that there was a recall for airbag malfunctions in the 2005-2008 infinity g35's. the 2003 infinity g35's were not included, but yet there are other 2003 g35 owners that have had with similar problems. unfortunately, some of them were injured when the airbag did not deploy. *jb

Tl* the driver owned a 2003 infiniti g35. the contact stated that the driver was traveling at an unknown speed in rainy weather when the vehicle hydroplaned. as a result, the vehicle went airborne and crashed head first into the pavement. the front passenger side air bag deployed, but the front driver side air bag did not. the driver was taken to the hospital via ambulance for rib injuries. the vehicle was destroyed and towed to an insurance lot. the insurance company stated to the contact that the front driver side air bag should have deployed upon impact. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure and the current mileages were unknown.

Tl*the contact owns a 2003 infinit g35. after starting the vehicle, the contact noticed that the air bag light illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where the air bag sensor was replaced. three months later, the failure occurred again. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where the contact was informed that the sensor needed to be replaced. the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. the failure mileage was approximately 65,000. the current mileage was approximately 104,000.

Well i bought this car from bellflower auto mart thinking that i bought a pretty dependable car come to find out the previous owner was drinking and driving and totaled the car, so now the car should have a salvage title but it doesnt the airbag system in the car does not work at all, the dealer bought the wrecked car from auction and repaired it themselves and sold it to me as if it was never in any accident, i asked for the carfax report but it unfortunately slipped my mind after all the paper work, but i went the next day to return the car after i found all this out and was kicked off the property. *tr

Our 2003 g-35 infinity was struck on the right front passenger side of the vehicle at or just behind the bumper. the air bag did not deploy. the car that struck our vehicle ran through a red light, did not slow on a road that had a speed limit of 35 mph (at least). the car was totaled. *jb

I was told that i needed a new air bag and a new module for the brake lamp located in the back window. there was no reason provided as to why these items broke. i think these were safety defects.*ak

My wife was driving her 2003 infinite g35 in traffic when events occured that caused her to crash into the back of a ford f350. she was wearing her seat belt but the drivers side airbag did not deploy. but the passager side airbag did. she sustained injuires to her head and chest. car appears to be totaled, but is being accessed for amount of damages at this time.

While driving 60 mph, the driver was hit from the side. the side air bags did not deployed. the driver sustained minor injuries. the vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. *ak
