Recently reported ELECTRICAL SYSTEM problems on 2007 Honda CR-V

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v.the contact stated that the rear driver and rear passenger side doors failed to lock or unlock remotely or manually. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with a fractured lock actuator. the vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 30,000 and the current mileage was 38,000.

Door lock actuator failure on left passenger door. door would lock uncommanded. actuator replaced at owners cost and 1 week after first actuator replacement drivers door master actuator failed which would not allow the unlock of passenger doors. passengers could not egress car from their doors. this condition would be unsafe in an accident. *tr

The hatch wouldn't open. noticed the back left door was stuck locked while other doors opened when unlocked w/key remote and manually from front drivers side door. so i manually opened the lock on the back left door which enabled the hatch to open. from then, the back left door wouldn't lock. noticed this while driving--my son opened door several times, luckily we weren't on the freeway and he was in a child seat. otherwise he would've flew out. the door sounded like it locked as it always did but didn't realized the back door wasn't locked. *tr

Front driver and trunk doors power locks stop working. it seemed to be very common issue for honda cr-vs 2007 and younger. i was told by dealership to replace two latches would cost me staggering $500. it definitely seem to be the design problem. i am not sure why honda does not act to recall the part, forcing customers to pay for its shortcomings. *tr

The power door locks on my car unlocks and locks while driving .. passengers and driver side doors lock and cannot reopen unless u have the key or the driver unlocks the door making this a dangerous safety feature ..thus if something happens to the driver the passengers in the car cannot get out.. several times that i have gotten out of the car to go into the store and left my handicapped sister in the car she tried to get out to use the stores bathroom and found that she could not get out of the car.. it was locked and the power door locks failed this has happened way too many times according to the internet when this problem is googled it appears to be a common problem ..honda needs to recall these cars and fix them this is a safety hazard if you were a passenger and got into an accident which knocks the driver out and there was a car fire etc the passengers would burn to death because they can not open the doors from the inside ... or the out side ... please help us honda wanted 253.00 to fix one door lock i have no money to do this they should recall these vehicles .. as they are aware of this problem according to the internet ... *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v. the contact stated that when starting the ignition, the door locks failed and locked all doors without warning. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 66,000. *tr

Rear driver door not locking. when all the doors are locked either using the remote or the master driver door lock button, the rear driver door returns to the unlocked state within one second of locking. it cannot be locked manually and does not remain locked if the button is manually held in place. i have read various complaints of the door locking system becoming faulty. why won't honda take ownership and do a recall! i am unfairly having to spend almost $250 to get the actuator replaced. door locks should come with a lifetime warranty just like seat belts! this is causing a theft hazard as well as a safety hazard for my child riding in the back seat! *tr

Is the federal government going to sit on their hands and wait for someone to die before they take action. these door locks are unsafe and very much defective *tr

Several years ago our front passenger and one of the rear doors would not remain unlocked or locked, depending on their mood. nor could we unlock the front passenger door from the inside. we had to get something fixed - the lock actuator i believe it is called. a few months back, sep/oct 2014, our passenger side door would not remain unlocked for more than two seconds, though we could lock/unlock from the fob or the passenger or driver side lock controls. since december, we can not even use the outside key lock, and can only unlock the car from the fob, and the driver side door still will not remain unlocked. now i hear this is a common problem with our 2007 crv. before i bring my car in for expensive repairs on something honda got wrong, i am filing this complaint. as this is a safety problem.. can not unlock the door to get out in case of an emergency, and could not get into the car if our fob fails, which i hear also happens, honda should fix this. *tr

Door locks are locking and unlocking while driving. *tr

Bought used 2007 honda crv. driver's side power window works intermittently. fuel mileage fine at first getting 22/28. dropped suddenly to single digits. after using injector cleaner treatment twice, can only get 22.5 city or hwy. just stuck at current mileage. due to go to dealer next week. we'll see. *js

Car would not start:no engine turning, no lights, etc. thought i had a dead battery, locked car to get help (via key fob) and lights went on acknowledging it locked. tried to start car again and it started fine. radio was blinking and had to enter radio security code like the battery had been disconnected. drove car home with no further problems. this morning car would not start again, followed the same process of locking and unlocking, lights come on and car would start (no blinking radio though). drove into work, stopped at intersection. when light turned green, started to drive (moved about 50 feet) and dashboard lit up and then car stalled and turned off. car would not start again. would not shift out of park. good samaritan messed with it and managed to get it into neutral so it could be pushed to side of road. said the emergency brake had been engaged which is why it would not shift from park? from side of road car started fine. i drove it home where now sits in the garage. *tr

My doors lock and unlock on their own whenever i start to move after being stopped. sometimes they will randomly lock and unlock while i am driving at a slow speed. when car is parked and i need to get in, i have to stand right by it with my hand on the handle to pull while hitting the key fob button because it will lock itself so quickly, i have no time to get in the car. i have already had this fixed once, and now it is doing it again. i don't want to pay to fix this again, but it is very annoying, and i am afraid of getting stuck in or out of my car at some point. *tr

For the last 2 years my 2007 cr-v has had issues with electric door-lock operation 1)the passenger door does not unlock. unlocking all doors via drivers side or key fob momentarily opens the passenger lock ? it then automatically locks again in 2-4 seconds. this is a safety issue as the passenger cannot get out in the event of an emergency. door handle operation does not over-ride the lock ? and the 2-4 second window electronically unlocking is difficult to synchronize handle operation in the best of circumstance. 2)in addition, all door locks continuously lock?lock?.lock when driving forward @ approximately 8-10km/hour. i am the original owner. there are many similar complaints ? i see ~ 105 at safercar.gov. *tr

Failure of door lock. the rear passenger door will not lock despite all attempts to get it to lock and the rear driver door continuously makes a loud clicking sound every 2-3 minutes as if it is locking and unlocking the clicking sound has now changed to a loud buzzing soundthe evening of nov 11, 2013 my car had been invaded, cannot say broken into because the door would not lock! police report filed. have appt 11-25-2013 with honda dealer for diagnosis-actuator?. first owner of a honda crv 2007. *tr

Before we actually knew what was happening we noticed a burning rubber smell right after we got my honda cr-v. thought maybe this the way it smells when we travel mountains. we live in a very mountainous area. found out after 83000 that there are numerous problems with premature failure of ac compressor. so then it happens the a c stopped working without any warning. the temp outside was over 107 degrees. i took the car the nearest garage, no honda dealers could look at my car for at least 1 week. so the garage i took it too sd that they noticed blue on the metal of the compressor housing and around the pulley. no wear or tearing on the belt though. the garage mechanic c sd that the blue on the housing meant that the metal on the housing was getting really hot, which would acct or the smell of burnt rubber. i have not had repaired because my garage cannot find an ac compressor in north america. so luckily no accidents or fires but to me this is a safety hazard. *tr

While traveling the door locks would open and close as time went by i noticed that when i locked the doors in a parked position the left rear door would not stay locked, after putting a piece of nail file in the handle it worked fine. as of yesterday 6/23/13 it started to lock and unlock while traveling and the remote key control won't work. however you can lock the doors manually traveling or in a parked position. *tr

My door locks on the car would lock and unlock while driving and there was no way to stop it from doing this. in addition, there was no way for me to lock the vehicle while driving or after parking and leaving the vehicle. when the dealer did not fix the problem i then asked them how i could lock the vehicle and the servicemen sent me on my way and said there was no way to do so. this problem has continued with each of the doors. the latest is that the car door will not unlock. the other day i had to crawl across the console to get out of the car because there was no way to unlock the door and get out. i am concerned about the safety of this issue because if there were an accident it is possible that people in the car would not be able to get out, especially if the accident resulted in a car fire. in addition, with children in the back seat, there is no way to prevent them from opening the door while driving. i have taken the car into honda six times regarding the different doors and each time have had to fight with them regarding fixing this problem. the first time the vehicle was under warranty so it was fixed without a question, but each additional time i have had to wait several days and argue with different people. door locks should work and when you review different forums and blogs on line and so many people have complained about this safety issue they should be taking care of this problem. *tr

2007 honda automatic door locks malfunction. in december 2010 the driver side and the back door began to malfunction. honda made me pay for it and they reimbursed 1/2 since i was past warranty. now its april 2011 and here i am again the passenger side is locking then pops open again. it will not stay locked. i am at honda and it is going to cost $238.00 to repair. this is a defect in the door looks. it is also a safety issue. i feel open to carjackers as i cannot lock my doors. i drive children around, and i have no capability of securing my car and the items in it. they are making me pay first and then they might refund to me part of the fees. i feel i should not pay for any of their defects. i can request the old part for this last correction. if you want me to send it to you. i was told that the dealer ship had been replacing the door locks. *tr

Driver door latch assembly/actuator causes doors to lock and unlock repeatedly beginning at approx 9 mph. with vehicle parked and turned off, doors re-lock repeatedly each time the door is unlocked making if difficult to enter or exit the vehicle. this was repaired, but failed again in july 2013 at approximately 48,334 miles. *tr

In january of 2011 the power door locks on my honda crv started clicking at 10 mph--by february of 2011, the doors started locking on me seconds after i remotely unlocked the door--sometimes not even letting me open the door and get into the car. i had an incident in mid february, when the door blew closed with the key in the ignition, my purse and cell phone in the car--and locked me out of the car--thankfully my sunroof was open and all 63 years of me had to climb into the car through the sunroof. next day we took it to the dealer, who replaced the actuator on the driver door. almost two years later in may of 2013 it started all over again--this time the rear door behind the driver. the first time it cost us $282--this last time it was $244. we have two more doors to go and another lady said she had all of them replaced and it cost her $900.--this is definitely a defect in these cars, and honda should have a recall and reimburse what we had to pay! *tr

it started by lock the passenger side automatic and you can not enter or open the door after a while it is making a horrible noise when i try to unlock or locked the doors. *tr

At approx; 75000 miles the right front door lock started making a very loud chattering noise when you used your key remote to unlock or to lock.when the vehicle reached 10 mph during excellerating and decellerating this would also happen. now the driver side rear passenger door lock is doing the same thing.i'm afraid to let a child ride in the back seat or the front passenger seat.i was checking online for anything about this problem and came across a interesting web site that your dept; needs to look at.there are many other cr-v owners with this same complaint. edmunds.com>suvs>.honda cr-v>honda power door locks. this forum has some pretty consistent complaints about the honda cr-v door locks and there relevent safety. *tr

As i was driving in town my back left door lock suddenly unlocked itself, without my pushing any locking button. this continued sporadically. however, when i took it to the dealership nothing happened, so they could do nothing. later the other back door had the same problem. that may have been in november of 2012, i honestly don't remember. when my husband took the car to the dealership this time, they quoted a price for repair which my husband felt was too high, so he did not have anything done. within the past two months (maybe april of 2013), the drivers' side door also came down with the same unlocking problem. last tuesday afternoon, june 26, 2013, the simple clicking sound which accompanied the unlocking action was replaced with a loud grinding sound. generally this happens when the car is moving from a standing still situation to moving forward. i saw this morning that it happened at 10 mph, but sometimes it just happens several times consecutively. the car cannot be locked, so the door could be opened while in motion, or it could be entered by anyone at any time. i know mine is not the only car of this model to have this problem. *tr

The door lock actuators on our 2007 cr-v started to malfunction a few years ago. they automatically lock and unlock while driving and the rear drivers side door will not lock at all. this is a serious safety concern. we also have lost items to criminals that have on multiple occasions gotten into the car through the un-lockable door. we got some of these actuators fixed before our extended warranty expired - but since then, they have failed once again and now we beyond the 100,000 mile warranty period. we see online that this is common problem that honda has been ignoring and now have no recourse but to complain to you fine government people to make them take care of their responsibility to provide us a safe vehicle that we can lock. all we want is for honda to fix the problem on our car with door actuators that do not leave us vulnerable to criminals. please make it so that we can lock the doors on our car. *tr

My vehicle door locks are defective they open then close then open again. not even if i open them manually! *tr

2007 honda cr-v automatic door locks failing. one after the other, three(3) now. defective automatic door locks installed on this vehicle and i feel are a safety issue. *tr

When checking washer fluid, i noticed the fluid was not visible, so i added the proper fluid. as nothing happened, i looked under car, & the washer solution was running out on the concrete floor, as i poured it into jug. upon further examination, i found pieces of the tubing that had been chewed on, and in some areas, chewed completely through. one of these areas i was able to access via a plastic door, about 12 inches wide, by about 2 inches in height, located under the hood, in the center of the firewall, just below the windshield wipers. i found pieces of tubing in this area, also. looking further, i found insulation that mice had moved from an unknown area, to make their nest. with some difficulty, i finally received a call from a honda rep, in california. after about 25 minutes of discussion, in a peaceful manner, i was not offered any solution to the mice problem, as i was trying to get honda to help me determine where the point of entry was located at, in the car body, that would allow mice to gain entry. as a former auto mechanic, & a structure aircraft mechanic, i planned to make the repair myself. (the insulation movement could be affecting the a/c & heating systems, also). later, i found both of the wires to the left clearance light had been chewed completely through, wire & all. i later read on a web site, that the wiring insulation was made out of recycled food material, such as the husks from corn, or pods from mature dried beans!! i consider the windshield washer problem a safety hazard, for sure. other mfg of asian cars could be using food grade wiring. if the mice can't be stopped, they could totally destroy these newer type cars, looking for shelter, with a built-in food supply. this should be considered a fire hazard, also, in my opinion, due to causing a short-circuit in the wiring systems. *tr

Front doors started locking automatically. after approx. 9 months all doors started locking automatically. all doors would lock immediately after engine was turned off, locking all occupants inside. would lock when car was idling in park and was unable to open doors manually with key from outside. car was stolen then recovered. whatever was used to steal it must have reset computer. because for approx.1 week after recovery door locks worked fine. now it is back to the problem as before. my 1 yr. old grandson was locked in the car for a brief time due to this issue, luckily one of the rear windows was down and my daughter crawled thru. i have read there is a recall for this problem on 2006 honda crv, but not for the 2007. it is possible that left over defective parts from 2006 models were used in 2007. i am told i could have to pay up to $900.00 to repair this problem. i not only don't have the money, but i don't accept that it should be my problem. it's not like it's from wear and tear or misuse of the vehicle. this is my third honda i've owned, and my last unless someone would at least acknowledge there is a problem here. thank you *tr

My 2007 honda cr-v has had a lock actuator malfunction passenger door remains unlocked/locked while driving and unlocks when i try to lock the car, which is a huge safety risk! also, the door lock and unlock when i got below 10mph and make a huge clicking sound. i can not drive one of my nephews in the front passenger side to avoid safety concerns, every night when i lock my car, the right rear passenger door is unlocked or locked....depending on it's mood. i have read online that there is no recall for this huge safety risk and that this is typical of honda and its electrical system. if i want honda to fix the problem, it will cost over $700 for a problem caused by honda. i have read online hundreds of other 2007 honda cr-v owners who are experiencing the same lock actuator issue and feel their safety is at risk for their passengers and for the car in general. i received a recall for the driver door but there needs to be a recall the passenger door and not have to wait for a reimbursement. i do home when they fix my driver door that works they will fix the window that shakes if i let in halt way down. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the door lock system failed numerous times. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the door actuator, but the failure recurred. the vehicle was taken to a dealer for inspection and stated that the lock system fuse needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified. the failure mileage was 40,000.

Vehicle began resetting door locks whenever vehicle accelerated through 7 or 8 mph from stop. after awhile, driver side front and back doors would not lock automatically and intermittently the driver door could not be manually locked (heavy resistance when trying to flip latch). on a less frequent basis, the passenger side rear door would not auto or manually lock. for last several months the door lock solenoids fire like a machine gun whenever the doors are manually or automatically locked. some times they all lock, other times one or more of the doors won't. tolerated for many months as dealer wouldn't fix under warranty even though only 1000 miles and a few days past 12mo/36k coverage and didn't want to pay dealer estimated fix at up to 800 dollars. now starting to pick up grandchildren for after school care and need to fix. seems this problem has enough complaints to warrant recall? *tr

When driving the vehicle, the automatic power door locks are supposed to engage when the car reaches approximately 10 mph, while driving my vehicle, this does happen but after the door locks engage, both rear doors on my vehicle unlock for no apparent reason. this appears to me to be a safety issue as i have 3 small grandchildren and i am afraid to allow them to ride in the back seat of my vehicle for fear that they may open the doors while the vehicle is moving and even though this vehicle is equipped with "childproof door locks", i will not totally rely on this as the only method to securing the doors. i have spoken to honda on a couple of occasions in this matter, but they seem to attribute it to a wear and tear or electrical issue and even though they agreed with me that this was a potential safety issue, they did not seem to take my concerns seriously.i have also discovered that the 2006 honda cr-v was recalled for the exact same problem and as early as a few months ago the 2012 honda cr-v along with some acura models are being recalled for these defective power door lock mechanisms.i replaced the front door mechanism in 2009 only to have both rear door mechanisms fail at the same time a short time later. i find it hard to attribute the failure of two individual parts to fail at the same time to a case of wear and tear or an electrical issue. i feel that these parts are failing due to an inferior design and i would like for this matter to be investigated. thank you. *tr

Honda crv 2007 issue: doors when locked by either remote or via car would lock all doors except the drivers. honda did cover it the first time then a year later the issue happened again but this time was in the back passenger side. also the front center door light (right side) fails to turn on when you open the doors, it will however turn on when you press the button. even got a new bulb but issue remained. i use to think honda was a great car do basic maintenance and you should be set. this is not the case. there are two recalls on this car and honda has not even notified me of even one of those and when i called the dealer and asked about the power steering pump they didn't mention the recall but stated it would cost $600. tsb number & issue date tsb title 11-050 oct 11 recall - ecm/tcm updates to prevent a/t damage tsb title 08-070 sep 08 campaign - power steering pump seizure. *tr

Honda crv 2007 ex 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder. the car does not start occasionally. the battery is fine. starter is okay. checked online forum to find the issue and fix. several people have logged same issue online. dealers don't know what is wrong. honda of america say that there is no problem. but clearly there is some issue in the engine immobilization or other electrical issue related to ignition. some one need to dig in to the issue and have it fixed by honda regardless of mileage. today (friday, march 05, 2010) again the vehicle does not start at all. the battery is fine since the lights and radio and other electrical components are working. seems like the some thing with the ignition electrical system. i have to tow away the vehicle to dealer and they need to diagnose the problem since it is not starting at all. *tr

Driver side door lock will not work, only manually , now all the locks actuate while i'm driving, which is anoying. and the window passenger side will not go up, this was fixed once already. *tr

My door locks unlock and lock while driving. while my passenger back door does not lock. i had bought an extended warranty for the vehicle but when i took it to the dealership they said they are aware of the problem but it will cost money to fix. same thing happened when their was a recall on the rear diff. fluid even though the car was under the 30k warranty they tried to charge me 350$ to fix it. also the leather on both front doors started peeling under warranty and the dealership tried to charge me for it. *tr

There is a widespread problem on several japanese branded cars when driving at dusk. many newer vehicles (honda crv-civic, lexus rx-ls, nissan versa) with led or electro-fluorescent instrument clusters are lit anytime the vehicle is in operation. these vehicles may not be set to operate on auto on lamps. this leads to the assumption by the driver that the headlamps and tail lamps are on when really that may not be the case. after noticing this happen on a lot of honda/toyota/nissan cars of in traffic, i wondered why they have not recalled such vehicles yet. would there be the possibility to make a requirement for these automakers to place a warning light to warn them in these situations? it seems that american and european makes don?t have this issue. the problem also affects vehicles of japanese nameplates that have daytime running lamps. this low intensity beam also gives the driver the sense that the lamps are on, when they are at a low level, and the rear tail lamps are actually off. i have seen a large number of vehicles, with drls after dusk when is it not clear to the driver that there is a problem. after renting an 08 nissan versa, i too had this problem occur on several occasions when the lit cluster indicated to me that my lights were on, but in reality, i was driving around with my lights off, and i realized this 10 minutes after the fact. and i was only able to tell from the inside of the vehicle by toggling the switch on/off, because there is no feedback from the instrument cluster when these lamps are on or off. this is a problem that should be looked into and i hope recalls can be effectively proposed to prevent injuries or deaths from happening, as i do feel that this is a large safety issue that the japanese automakers have overlooked. thank you for your attention and seriousness of this matter. please comment on this issue, and help me track it so that it does reach the correct hands. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v. the contact stated that while attempting to activate the air conditioning unit, the air conditioner blew hot air. the contact mentioned that the air conditioner would operate normally sporadically. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was unable to be replicated. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 100,000. updated 10/17/13*cn

My wife was driving her new crv with our newborn infant on the highway at 8pm. without any warning the car died and the dashboard went black. she was in the middle lane and almost got rear-ended by a semi trying to get to the right shoulder. she tried starting it and it caught after a few tries. what kind of crap vehicle is honda putting out? this is our first honda and it will be the last. we called brewster honda and they were very accommodating but they said they couldn?t find anything wrong. there is no way my wife and baby will get in that death mobile again. of course honda usa has never heard of this happening. i guess they need a lawsuit and some news stations to get their attention. it has also been in service for running very rough every few weeks but they didn't find anything with that either. it was bought in april 2007 and has 8500 miles. *tr

We purchased a new honda crv 2007 for my daughter in college in october 2006 from ed voyles honda, marietta, ga. in april of 2007 my daughter had trouble starting the car after it had been driven and left parked for a hour or more. she had to crank the engine for 10-20 minutes before the car would start. we documented the problem in e-mail to the dealership and took the car in on more than three occasions. they were unable to replicate the problem. during july 2007 we left the car at the dealership for three weeks for them to try and re-create the problem, they were unable to do so. the dealership consulted with the honda tech-line and they could still not recreate the problem. during the past seven months we have had this problem occurring more than 15 times to different drivers of the vehicle. on sunday 10-14-2007 in frustration i gave my car to my daughter to take back to college since the honda crv was proving to be too unreliable. on the day i drove the crv and sure enough after having parked the car for 3 hours it took me 24 minutes of cranking to start the car. once the car started i drove for two miles and then it just cut-out. this left me stranded in the middle of a busy intersection for 3 terrifying minutes of cranking the engine before it started again. we have now returned the car to the dealership and we have a rental from the dealership. the honda crv 2007 has proved to be very unreliable and as a parent i am concerned for the safety of my daughter driving this car. we have lost confidence in the vehicle and think that honda usa should now remedy the situation. in our estimation this car is a "lemon" and we are now considering our legal options under the georgia lemon law. by all rights honda usa should replace this vehicle with a new one. *jb

To begin, i recently purchased directly from manly honda, in marin county, ca, earlier this jan/feb of 2007 a brand-new 2007 honda cr-v exl, $28k. a first-time car buyer, i had paid in full using my hard-earned money what i believed to be a reliable, dependable and trouble-free car. alas, i began noticing some irregularities with the car soon thereafter. to name but a few, they are as follows: 1) a tapping sound in the back of my car; 2) a wet spot noted on the floor of my garage under the hood area; 3) intermittent inability to start the car whereby the battery light would come on; and 4) inability to accelerate, but sudden surge thereafter when driving. i brought my vehicle in to be serviced on monday, august 13, 2007. later that afternoon i received a call from sf honda, the service dealer, to advise that: 1) the tapping sound in the back of my car is due to a welding defect. having jacked up the car and removed all the back panels to the vehicle, they had determined that the defective weld or welds were located further within the vehicle and my car would need to be sent to an auto body shop to be further stripped apart to determine the number of defective welds in question. 2) a powder test performed on my engine had determined that it was a transmission leak and the entire transmission would need to be replaced. 3) they had yet to determine why my car would fail to start and the battery light appear; and 4) the sudden surging of my vehicle once i had stepped on the accelerator was due to the defective leak in the transmission. upon hearing this, i was flabbergasted. who would have thought that a brand-new car, a honda which is noted for its reliability, would encounter such problems? and at 3,158 miles? and simultaneously? what does this say about honda's quality assurance and manufacturing standards? *tr

Direction relay switch is only audible when vehicle is parked and at idle. road noise dampens the sound of the direction relay at most speeds and road conditions. manufacture does not offer an optional direction relay which could increase the decibels of the relay. when sound of directional relay does not cancel after a less than 90 degree turn then continued flashing of the exterior directional lights has caused near misses with other vehicles.

Vehicle failed to start..key turned to start position, no response from starter motor. retried, vehicle did start; starter turned over slowly. battery connections appear/feel tight; condition indicator shows blue (full charge) has occurred about six times...*nm
