This letter is in reference to a set of 4 cooper gls touring tires purchased from ntb, clover, sc. tire information (cooper gls touring, 185/65r 14 86t, u96l1dr0917, 1 each and u96l1dr1116, 3 each) within a few months of purchasing the tires, the driver side rear tire developed a slow leak taking several days to deflate. on 12/16/2018, i was in hampton, va when the tire developed a more serious leak and deflated within a few hours. i was unable to return to the clover, sc location on this tire and took it to the hampton, va location where the tire was patched. however, within a few weeks the slow leak returned which progressed into a faster leak over time. i returned the tire to the clover, sc location where the technician informed me the tire balancing weight had broken the bead and that was the location of the leak. at this time it seemed that the tire problems had been successfully addressed. however, on 6/16/2019 this tire suffered a sudden catastrophic deflation while parked in the parking lot of walmart in osage beach, mo. i ...
I skidded backwards down the street in snowy conditions because 2019 honda civic si was shipped with summer tires instead of all season tires. the manufacturer's window sticker indicated that all season tires were installed when in fact, they were summer tires which were totally unsuited to driving in new england in winter. i only discovered this after i was unable to control the car. honda is aware of this and has issued service bulletin 19-007, but has not notified all of the dealers and has not contacted the owners directly.

On the morning of 12/14/15, while taking my new car , that had 3,400 miles on it, to the dealerahip for it's first new car service i had a blow out of the rear passenger tire on the florida turnpike doing 70 mph. when i finally arrived at the dealership they examined the blow out and could see no damage to the tire that would account for the blow out. the same was true when i got to a michelin dealer who also examined the tire, he could find no damage that would support anything other than a defective tire. when the tire blew it broke the rear wheel suspension cover. michelin refused to pay for the cost of the new tire since the blow out caused additional damage to the rear suspension. michelin want me to go through their "claim process" which includes, but is not limited to my returning the tire. after numerous phone calls, explaining that being a senior citizen , carrying a tire to be mailed is not an option nor was the collection of the rubber that was left on the turnpike an option for me to ...
Purchased 4 goodyear viva 2 tires, from walmart on 10/27/2014, for the first few months they were great. after awhile i kept needing to get them rebalanced due to vibrating, they started getting louder and louder. had to keep getting my car aligned every other month. today on 10/22/2015, driving straight on cruise control at 70mph on interstate 376, i started hearing this awful noise, i thought it was a wheel bearing that kept going bad. then the car wouldn't accelerate, and i started smelling burnt rubber and smoke coming out of the back. i pulled off the closet exit and into the closet parking lot, to find that the tire had blown out on the side wall. i went to the walmart that i purchased these tires from. since i purchased road hazard they replaced the tire at a prorated rate. but they don't sell viva 2's anymore, they replaced it with a viva 3. the other 3 viva's on the car, are now wearing abnormal on the sidewall, walmart insists that i curbed them and that was the problem, when i know i never did. so they wont replace them unless something happens to them or there is ...
