Making a left turn at about 15 to 20 mph when other car trying beat the light doing about 50 mph resulting me hitting him broadside. the air bags deployed properly but the seat belt failed. the seat belt ripped out of floor of the car including the bolt that is supposed to hold it in place. as aresulr i was injured with a fractured sternum and rib.
Tl* the contact called on behalf of her mom who owned a 2012 honda civic. the contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, the vehicle was involved in a chain reaction accident. the contact stated that the the driver and passenger frontal air bags failed to deploy. additionally, the seat belts for the driver, passenger, and rear seat passenger failed to operate as intended. the driver and front seat passengers sustained injuries to the head, chest, back, and shoulders while the rear seat passenger sustained abrasions to the face from the back panel of the front passenger's seat. medical attention was sought by each vehicle occupant. a fourth passenger in the vehicle was not injured. the contact stated that approximately four other passengers from the other vehicles involved in the crash also sustained injuries and medical attention was also sought. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to a tow and recovery facility. the vehicle was not inspected or diagnosed. neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were contacted or notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 136,000. the vehicle was destroyed.
My airbag was replaced last year. and now it will not pass mandatory state inspections due to a abs light that will not go off. i've had many people try and figure it out? yet the air bag has something to do with it. i need this fixed immediately the state of virginia will not pass the air bag light being on unknown..
At approximately 35 to 40 mph when applying the brakes lately due to traffic slowing down in front i had absolutely no brake pedal at all. the pedal went immediately down to the floor and the vehicle had failed to slow or stop. to avoid accident i veered to the dirt shoulder and begin to spin out of control ending up back on the road and crashing into another vehicle. the seatbelts had failed to lock as if the brake pedal was never depressed and it appeared that as soon as the tires hit the dirt shoulder the vehicle gain speed. in addition airbags were never deflated.
My car was struck in an accident in which the air bags did not come out, not a single one. my car was stationary at a traffic light on a city street when another car at full speed struck from behind. from the impact the seat was twisted and once again no airbags came out. additionally, the seat belt got stuck and once i unbuckled my seat belt it did not return to its place like it normally does. within this complaint, i will attach pictures from the crash and it shows how the airbags did not come out.
My car was in the dealership for a recall repair and every since then the srs light seems to come on. the srs light first came on when i had a passenger in the passenger side getting out from the car exiting it the car the car is a 2010 with 35000 miles it's a one owner car never in an accident and repaired always at the dealer all service history. the only person that's mess with this system is the dealer who's tried to repair and get the light off srs light and still is not fixed wanting me to pay almost $1,800

Tl* the contact owns a 2018 honda civic. the contact stated that the rear driver's and front passenger seat belts were severed. the vehicle was taken to superior honda of omaha (402-408-1000, located at 4111 s 144th st, omaha, ne 68137) where it was determined that the failure was caused by the harness the contact installed to stabilize the child safety seat. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stood by the dealer's observation. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 13,500. the vin was unknown.
I was involved in a single car, weather related accident. i was traveling approximately 35-40 miles per hour in heavy snow. i was wearing my seatbelt which came unlatched upon initial impact with a guard rail on the rear passenger side. my car then crossed the road and went into a ditch, striking some large boulders. that impact was on the front, driver side of the vehicle. the airbag did not deploy and the car was significantly damaged and declared a total loss. i was injured with a broken right arm, broken right leg, nine broken ribs and significant lacerations to my head and right ear from impacting the rear view mirror and front windshield. i spent 12 days in a critical care unit and 18 days in a rehabilitation center for physical therapy. i had to have plates and screws installed in my leg and arm to repair the broken bones. my husband inspected and tested the driver seatbelt and while it did appear to hold on some solid latches of the belt, was able to observe it fail and come unlatched after hearing a solid click/latch sound and then ...
