Recall was in january of 2017 and i got the notice from ford in march 2017 now here it is november 2017 and still nothing from ford on when it will get replaced. have a 2008 honda got the recall notice and the fix with in a month of each other. every time i call ford same answer no idea were waiting on parts.

Takata recall -- in january, 2017, i was notified that the airbags in my ford ranger have been recalled. the letter states that i will receive notice when replacement airbags are available. it has been 11 months and no one has contacted me regarding replacement. i'm concerned about the risk of injury to myself and passenger should the airbags need to deploy. it seems as if the manufacturer is not taking the recall replacement seriously. friends are nervous to ride with me. i fear that the inaction will also decrease the truck's value.
This is a year old recall for the 2007 ford ranger passenger side airbag i made a complaint over 3 months ago case number 110630 with you guys i got a case number a year ago when i first got the recall and they refused to allow me to get it fixed i have heard nothing from either ford or you and it is disgusting people's lives are in danger and you could care less i am appalled at the lack of customer service or professionalism that you are for
Takata inflators can't get dealer to repair they keep saying that they don't have the parts for repairs. we have called and checked numerous times
Takata recall i was notified of the recall for my truck early in 2016. when i called my local dealer about getting it fixed, they told me they don,t have the parts and may take a while, but said the truck was still safe to drive. in the mean time i continued to drive my truck since it was my main mode of transportation for work. one night driving with a passenger in the vehicle that i was hit by another driver, something that was completely out of my control. both driver and passenger airbag were deployed. my passenger was diagnosed with a minor concussion and still suffering from migraines. this recall has been for many cars and there are many others driving around with their and their passengers lives at risk. you can not stop someone else hitting you while driving along. this is a bug issue that needs to get resolved before more people get hurt or worse. airbags are suppose to keep us safe and protect us from getting hurt not causing injuries.
Takata recall - i'm waiting for this to be fixed but i don't think there are replacement parts or a solution. the interim fix is to not use the passenger seat. this means that on 1 person can safely use my truck (the driver).
The recall for my airbag is incomplete as the dealer has not yet found a proper remedy for the problem. i'm concerns for my safety and my passengers.
Takata recall so there is no remedy for this recall. called a ford dealership they said they dont know when one will become availabe. i asked them what ford is doing for its customers seeing as the air bags if deployed could kill you or serious injury. their simple response was wait on the remedy. but gm had a massive recall they supplied customers with either a rental car until the remedy became available or traded them out of the vehicles they were in. really ford nothing to protect yourselves or your "customers"!!!

Takata recall. i received safety recall notice 16s26/nhtsa recall 16v-384 in july 2016. i heard nothing from ford and wrote to ford on 9/19/2016. ford replied with a form letter on 9/29/2016 and assigned case # cas-10670226-d7r4v2. they did nothing about the airbag. i wrote to my local dealer on 2/28/17 and received a telephone reply a week or so later, since then nothing. it has now been almost a year and ford has done nothing about what is described by natsa as possibly causing "serious injury or death." i am afraid every time i drive this vehicle and i will not let my grandchildren in it. i want the vehicle repaired or replaced.
