Takata recall. i have a recall letter dated march 2017. i called the dealership and ford regarding a timeframe for the repair to be done. i was told when the parts are available, ford will contact us. so, i have to drive a car that may kill my passenger if i should get into an accident. why send a letter and not repair the car??? ford should have to make arrangements if they cannot back the recall. the recall is only worth the paper it's written on. shame on nhtsa and ford motor company. you are both a joke!
Takata recall letter was originally received on march 2017 so i contacted my ford dealership in fresno and i was told by ford that the parts were not in and that they would contact me when they were in. i called ford a few times after that and i was still told that the parts were not in. i then received a letter from ford in may 2018 stating that the parts for the airbag were still not in and that they would notify me when they came in. as of today, october 30, 2018, i still have not heard from ford regarding the parts. in the meantime, my life and others who are passengers in my vehicle could be in great danger of i were in an accident. these parts should have come in a long time ago when i received the 1st recall notice. it is now a year and a half later and still no parts are available. this is absolutely ridiculous!
Takata recall- takata has failed to make replacement airbags available or offer any type of "fix" for safety recall notice 17s01. the amount of time that has passed is unacceptable and very worrisome in the face that it feels my car is a ticking time bomb of sorts.
Received notice of recall march 2017. contacted world ford pensacola in may 2017, july 2017 and september 2017. i am always told that i have been placed on a waiting list. this is a very serious recall, due to being in high humidity area and having a takata air bag.

Takata recall has not been in a timely manner. my first notice was back in march 2017. get the run around from the dealership every time i call them and also received notices in the mail about the recall. that is my only car i own told the dealership that so he said keep calling to see if the part is in nothing yet has been done.

Takata recall i received a notice one year ago about a recall to my front passenger airbag. the notice states that the airbag could rupture in an accident and may cause metal fragments to strike passengers resulting in serious injury or even death. i have not received any further communication about this dangerous safety issue. i just called ford to make an appointment to get this fixed, and they said they still don't have the parts. so i've been driving myself and my child around in a car that could kill us in an accident for a whole year, with no resolution in sight. this is unacceptable.

Takata recall i received a notice in (march 2017) that there was a defect for the "passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture" and that there was not a fix for it at the current time. here we are (february 2018) and still no notice of a fix. i currently driving my family around in this very dangerous vehicle that i believe after a years time has gone by there should be a fix for this problem or if ford is not going to fix this problem they should let there customers aware of that fact.

Takata recall - in march 2017 i received written notice of safely recall notice 17s01. it stated: "when parts become available...ford motor company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer to have the passenger frontal airbag inflator replaced free of charge (parts and labor)..." i have received no such notification. today, approx. one year after the recall date, i checked this site and learned that the parts are still not available, and now takata has filed for bankruptcy. yet i'm left driving a vehicle that is apparently unsafe. what should i do?
Takata recall since at least 2016, ford motor company has notified me about the takata airbag recall. i have contacted my local dealer and the numbers for ford corporate on several occasions and have been informed the parts are still not in. i have a son with special needs, and am in charge of all transportation for him and his staff. i do not feel comfortable driving with someone in the passenger seat, and thus, the lack of this part has severely negatively impacted my son's quality of life and inconvenienced scheduling tremendously. i love my car completely, but something needs to be done about this recalled part.

Takata recall i received a letter last year march of 2017 that the inflator in the passenger airbag needed to be replaced. they listed all the possible dangers if not replaced in a timely manner; yet i still have not been notified to have this problem resolved. i have contacted dealers on my own but they have no replacement part in stock. my daughter drives this car a lot, and i am very concerned that the longer we delay the more likely an accident can occur. is there any other avenue for replacement??

Owner received notification of an airbag recall on this vehicle dated march, 2017. ago.since then no parts have been available for the repair. the latest notice is dated october 2018 that state in bold letters "parts ar now available to repair you vehicle; however, you dealer will need to order parts for your vehicle prior to an appointment:" my dealer attempted to order the parts but was told the parts are still not available. i want to know what can be done to force ford to provide the parts for this repairs. this has taken far too long and lives are at stake here.

We received notice of a recall in january 2017 (nhtsa recall number: 17v024) and the manufacturer has yet to get the parts needed to fix this issue. very concerning given all the problems and injuries with air bags. i am also worried that the driver airbag may also be affected. please get this manufacturer to take care of this recall.
