Per the report published on the nhtsa website. my vehicle is in priority group 7, and the deadline listed for the manufacturer to have the spare parts to remedy the defect was december 31, 2017. as of january 13, 2018, the statement provided by ford is that they do not have parts available and cannot provide data as to when they will be available. nhtsa has the authority to fine ford for not meeting the deadline, and as atax payer i expect nhtsa to fine ford the maximum allowed by law for failing to comply with the agreed to deadline to have the parts available to remdy the life threatening safety defect with my vehicle. driving this vehicle with this defect is no safer that putting 3-bullets in a revolver and spending two hour a day sping the trigger and pulling the trigger. when is nhtsa going to do its jof and force the automanufacturers to fix their defective vehicles?

No accent protection for my front passenger.

I have not experienced anything , thank god. was contacted by tk holdings inc. that i had a defective takata airbags on my car. i verified this on your site in 2017 which showed my vehicle as needing my airbags replaced. i called ken stoepel ford and the lady that answered "pooh pahed'' this and said it was b.s. now i'm not so sure and am tired of people playing russian roulette with mine and my family's lives. complaint involves takata airbags and the possible injury associated with a collision.

I have contacted ford dealership for replacement of my airbag and they are unable to provide a remedy for the safety recall. i am instructed to contact nhtsa

Airbag recall have not replaced yet.

Takata recall. received notice march 2017. called jarrett-scott ford and matt said no parts, wait for next notice. never received notice until now from tk holdings regarding bankruptcy. called jarrett-scott ford 11-20-2017 and matt said no parts and airbag problem in disarray because of bankruptcy. cannot help. would like to get airbags fixed since this is very dangerous.

I was on the road pack saddle in jonestown tx 78645, when i pulled on to road 1431. a large truck with a crash guard hit me on the driver's side @ 60mph. the accident turned my car into a horse shoe, and senjt me into on coming trafic. all of the air bags were activated and saved both me and my wife but, the residue that came with the activation pepperd me in the face and ruined my glasses. if i had not had my glasses on,i would have lost my vision due to such. we were on a county road.turning left and my vehicle was in motion.

Takata-manufactured airbag recall this notification was sent out back in january of this year and has not been remedied! this is not timely and is putting numerous lives at risk - they need to reinstall the entire airbag if they cannot replace the faulty part. waiting almost a year for a remedy is unacceptable.

I called the freeway ford dealership in bloomington mn to schedule the recall of my air bag. they told me there is no fix for the issue yet.

Takata inflators have not been replaced. have called repeatedly. have called various ford dealership and they have not set up free replacement appt.

We received a letter informing us our front airbag needed to be replaced back in march of 2017. as of today (november 8, 2017) ford still does not have the replacement part for this car. i've spoken to both our local ford dealer and ford customer service. they also couldn't tell me whether the car was safe to drive or not.

Takata recall. in january 2017 i received a recall notice from ford stating that my 2012 ford fusion had a recall repair/replacement due. the part to be replaced was a takata inflator on the passenger side that could cause injury or death to the occupants. repeated phone calls and visits from january through october 2017 to two of my local ford dealers resulted in repeated denials of replacement due to "we don't have the parts" and "some time next year" (2018). it has now been 10 months that i have been driving a potentially lethal vehicle.

Takata recall. i received written notice from ford in march 2017 that "frontal air bag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment. a ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death..." i called ford company today 10/31/17 (8 months after the initial notice which i took very seriously) and was told by the ford representative that they have no date for when the parts for the remedy would be available. so ford has told me that me and my wife could suffer serious injury or death in the event that the airbag is deployed and there is no timeframe for resolving this very serious deficiency. please tell me what action is being taken to make ford be more responsive

Takata recall. i had received notice of my airbag inflator being recalled on january 10th, 2017. it is october 31st, 2017 and ford is still unable to change out my inflator and make it safe to drive. this airbag inflator needs to be replaced in a more timely manner to prevent possible injury. thank you.

Takata recall i received the notification concerning the airbag recall in the mail the day before the vehicle was involved in an accident and was eventually considered to be a total loss. the airbag in the drivers side did deploy and pieces of what i thought were glass were embedded in my skin on my left hand though there wasn't any glass in that area that seemed to be loose. i also noticed that the airbag continued to burn for an extremely long time. the accident occurred and after all parties were evaluated and the road was cleared a bit, the tow truck arrived and the steering column still had smoke coming from the airbag region which the paramedic mentioned seemed to be longer that usual for it to still be smoking. this accident occurred while ,y vehicle was in motion and hit a stopped car which then hit another vehicle on a city street while driving in the forwards position.

I received the safety recall notice 17s01 / nhtsa recall 17v-024 in march 2017. it is now 10/23/17 and i still cannot find a ford dealership that has the parts to fix the problem. i just received notice that takata is filing bankruptcy and that i should find a dealership to fix it. unfortunately all ford dealers in the raleigh area say that they still don't have parts.
