Tl* the contact owns a 2002 ford f350. the contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, white smoke started to emit from the rear of the vehicle. after stopping to inspect the vehicle, the contact discovered fuel leaking from the engine area. the vehicle was towed to the dealer. the technician diagnosed that the fuel lines below the engine turbo had ruptured and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. the failure mileage was 175,000.

Purchased the 2002 f350 super duty dump truck new in 2003. it presently only has 20,200 miles on it. this past june the gas tank started leaking around the seam area. thought that this was odd due to the low miles and soft usage the truck has had. has there been a recall on this truck for gas tank issues? if not, there should be.....as it a safety issue. *tr

While driving vehicle and with no warning the gas tank fell out of the vehicle. dealer notified.*ak
