We have classified the 24 complaints from 2000 Ford Expedition about SUSPENSION into the following categories.
Vehicle wanders mostly at 60-70mph. this problem is intermittent. vehlice almost flipped over. dealer has looked at it 3 other times. delaer said that because they were highly sentitive they will do this. dealer will inspect vehicle once again.*ak
Consumer is taking in vehicle in for the 5th time. vehicle wanders to the left. dealer has no remedy & that they have done everything they could for the vehcile. manufacturer sent dealer some adjustments to do to vehicle. right side was adjusted so far. vehicle was now going to the left & right. independent front end specialist said vehicle should be pulling to the right.*ak
Front tires are cupping, uneven tire wear, vehicle inspected and aligned,possible tire related defect (no make/model of tires provided). *cj
When driving over 45mph vehicle shakes excessively. this includes the following; interior and exterior, such as mirrors/seats, and body. dealer has seen vehicle 6 times, and cannot fix problem. *ak
On day of purchase, vehicle shook, pulled to right and required constant steering corrections to maintain course. steering is very sensitive and there is a tracking problem. returned to dealer three times and vehicle has been at dealer for correction of these problems 14 days.
Ongoing problem with vibration. whenever vehicle pulled off from a stop position it would vibrate, stop for a while and commence again when vehicle reacheed 45 mph. vehicle been in dealer shop on four occasions, and on each visit, parts have been replaced. but problem still reoccurring. *ak
Whenever driving at high speeds vehicle will vibrate up and down the highway.*ak *jb
