Ford edge recall on airbags was first issue on june 1st, 2016. it is no february 2nd, 2017, which is 8 months later, and no further information on fixing this defect has been mailed to us by ford. this is an excessive amount of time to remedy their defect so i'm placing a complaint for lack of responsiveness by ford.

Takata recall - my vehicle recall has been on-going for almost two years. i have not receive notice as to when it will be fixed. waiting for repair, this should be in a timely matter before the vehicle gets into an accident.

Takata recall'', i received a letter last year about the airbag recall and never heard anything else until october 2017 a postcard saying the takata company has filed bankrupt and the parts are not yet available. i get a letter in december stating that the parts are still unavailable and maybe by spring 2018 i should get my airbag replaced on the driver side and i was also instructed not to have any passengers on the passenger side or the airbag will erupt and could cause injury or even death. i was reading in the newspaper about the same airbag in honda and the driver airbag erupted and the driver was killed, how am i surpose to believe that my passenger side is only defected and not both. i also use my car for my job, i transport me clients to their outing, and appointments this is certainly a inconvenience to me and possibly not having a job. this situation needs to be correctly before it causes a hardship on me and many others who are experiencing this recall as to this date i have not had a problem or every been in a accident with me ford 2008 edge, i want to feel safe while i drive and when i am driving others. please respond to my complaint and take in consideration this may happen to me after the december 27th 2017 deadline to complain.

Takata recall 6/1/2016 but no repair part available yet!

Takata recall: recall notice was issued in june 2016. since that date i have checked with my local ford dealer & gotten the same response, "parts for repairs have not been released to all dealers yet"

Re: recall from june 2016 (recall # 16s26). i still have not been notified as to a remedy for this recall. i received a notice over a year ago, but it was simply a "heads up" indicating that there was an issue with the airbags and it said i would be notified by mail when a solution was available. i am concerned that it has been over a year and my car has still not been serviced for this recall due to "no remedy available" yet.

Takata inflators - the parts to repair the issue are delayed until spring 2018. i was told on the recall notice not to have people sit in the front passenger seat and this is starting to negatively impact my professional and personal life. i feel that i've been waiting an unreasonable amount of time to get this issue fixed. thank you.
