How to Replace 2014 Dodge Durango Tail Light

Gathering The Tools

Start by gathering your trusty trim tool. If you happen to be devoid of such an instrument, fret not! Any plastic trim tool will serve as a noble substitute.

Removing the Push Pins

Find the two push pins holding the taillight in position. Utilize your trim tool to get underneath and pop them out. It's all very James Bond, only less glamorous.

Extracting the Taillight

Once free from the confinements of the push pins, seize the taillight and pull it straight back. It might put up a fight, but remain steadfast! A trim tool can also be employed here to ensure a smooth extraction.

Disconnecting the Connector

Now, observe where those ball sockets slide into the grommets. Marvelous, isn’t it? Proceed to disconnect the connector by pressing down on the tab and sliding it off.
