When starting vehicle brake light came on. after releasing parking brake, light stayed on. consumer states after a couple of minutes abs,engine check light, and emrgency brake light was on, then, vehicle died. consumer has not contacted dealer. please provide any further information.*ak

Emergency brake cable rubs on rear leaf spring, dlr says all trucks do it. it is a design flaw and should be recalled. the brake cable will eventually fail when the casing on the cable wears thru and the cable rusts and corrodes.
