My car was parked on a hit and run on august of 2018. my car was parked on a flood march 2019, my car has repairs covered by the insurance of $19,000 and it's still in the shop. i honestly think that my vehicle is not safe for me to drive.
2016 dodge hellcat front struts replaced in may 18 2018 now the struts are having the same problem car isn't driving straight and struts are on back order since sep 22 until now. bought the car 9/2/18 and the redding dealership used car manager dave birch and the owner steve roberts have been unprofessional in talking to me. when i asked about the status on my car and is this a normal situation and standard procedure after buying not one but two cars and taking a car in for repairs not having the car with less than 7016 miles and after repairing a scratch on the back bumper and having to replace the tires which should've been replaced before putting the car on the lot, because the sales agent and used car manager had to test the depth of the tires which they shouldn't had to check if they would've just replaced the tires in the beginning all this could've been avoided now there's a crack in the windshield when the care was purchased windshield, the owner and used car manager actually asked '' what else do you want from us david what else do you want us to do for you '' after i asked is this a normal situation and procedure. well after the used car manager was rude and unprofessional to me i was rude to him and then when i asked to speak to him he was not taking my calls anymore and letting all my messages go to voicemail so when the manager decided to do that that's when i talked to the owner steve he started acting the same way they didn't want to talk to me and switched me to guy the service part manager. if this is how dodge dealerships operate then i'll never recommend anyone from buying a car from any dodge dealership or any dodge vehicle for that matter i don't work due to the redding wildfires burning down my house and business which i owned a party bus company and will pursue this to the very end luckily for me this is a small town & the people of redding
Vehicle has been in multiple times for service on powertrain, transmission downshifts hard when slowing down when cruising at 40+, (vehicle will jerk hard at 10 mph and bang around 10 mph) serv awd system periodically comes on and car will loose power without warning and will need to be shut off and turned back on to beable to drive again and awd light will no longer be on. this has happend twice on city streets and once on the highway at highway speeds .also the car has multiple times in the past owen put into park and will roll away and say service transmission set parking brake and if you don't set parking brake and take your foot off the brake the car will stall, dealer replaced transmission manual service switch and the car has done it 2 times since. the vehicle has been to the dealer multiple times with no 'fix' in sight dodge customer care has been notified of the issue and there is a case open, however the vehicle still has serious safety powertrain issues with no remedy in sight, dealer says car bangs because the transmission is 'stuck in a sweet spot' but they don't have an answer for the service awd light
I bought a car dodge charger 2016 srt from saudi arabia alkhobar umc (united motors company) dodge dealer show room i received the car on 23rd march 2016. all regular maintenance are done in umc center since then. - in april 2016: heard strange sound from the front wheels: first time i gave the car umc service center and they changed the right wheel bearing heard same sound again from front wheels the second day: second time i gave the car to umc service center and they changed the left wheel bearing in december 2016 after 37000 km i started seeing the following: 1- message in the dashboard "transmission temperature too high" 2- strange sound coming from the gearbox 3- strange sound and vibration coming from the engine third time: i gave the car to umc service center and it stayed for three days then they said nothing is wrong with the car, so i asked them to have an engineer to test it, the engineer drove the car and speed up to 200 km/hr and he heard strange sound from the car and acknowledged the car problem forth time: i gave the car to umc service center, they acknowledged the problems with gearbox and engine, and they kept the car now for almost one week. they informed me two days ago that they have to replace the gearbox and also they have to disassemble the engine and change the 16 hydraulic valves of the engine, due to my complaint they told me today that no gearbox repalcement will be done i am not accepting to buy top end car srt from dodge then i have all of these problems in the car. the dealer in saudi is refusing to do the above and refusing to help or support by even raising it to usa head quarters so i took the following actions: 1- sent multiple emails to dodge fca group management 2- contacted the usa customer service hot line to file a complaint 3- i filed a complaint in the saudi consumer product safety against umc
