We have classified the 48 complaints from 2006 Dodge Charger about VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL into the following categories.
I was in line at tim horton's, i had ordered, but not yet paid. i had my foot on the brake (car was stationary), and the as the car in front of me moved up, i depressed the brake to roll the car forward. the car began accelerating on it's own. with my foot still on the brake, i pushed the brake to the floor at which point the abs struggled to slow the acceleration down. the result of the incident is my car only came to a stop once i hit the car in front of me. i looked down once the car stopped moving and clearly only saw my foot on the brake with the brake pressed all the way to the floor. luckily the only real damage was some flaked paint on the front of my car. the other car, as well as myself decided the issue was not worth reporting to the insurance companies. i immediately called my dad, who told me to call the dealer. i then called the dealer whom said do not drive the car, and get the car towed to them for diagnosis. the car was towed to the dodge/jeep dealership in which i bought the car in 2007. this issue has never happened before, in the 11 years i've owned the car.
Tl* the contact owned a 2006 dodge charger. while idling at a stop sign, the vehicle accelerated independently and struck the rear of another vehicle. a police report was filed and there were no injuries. the vehicle was destroyed and towed to a tow yard. the dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
My car will not accelerate over 40mph. i went to the mechanics and it said that the transmission computer isn't functioning correctly. i looked up this issue online and this is an ongoing issue with these cars. i contacted dodge they said since there is no recall then they can't do anything.
I was driving home from work on the freeway and had to change lanes to go around a slower vehicle. as i depressed the accelerator pedal it snapped off and fell on the floor causing a hazardous condition as i could no longer control the speed of the vehicle. i was able to make it home by leaning down and depressing the pedal with my hand while holding on to the steering wheel with the other. i contacted dodge to try and get reimbursed for the repair that i made myself but they said they could not do anything for me. there are numerous complaints contained in on line forums about this happening to the same and/or similar chrysler vehicles.
Speedometer quit working, car jumps hard into reverse and drive, will not shift out of first gear, code u0100, u1120, u0121, u0103, replaced computer and had no change of condition, no transmission dipstick to check fluid, a must take to dealer item that is not sensible.
When driving on the interstate at 70 miles per hour the car stalled like it was loosing power and the started back like everything was fine the car started doing this many times while driving also when at a stop sign or stop lights it will just die most the time it will start right back up or may take a few min and when sitting in park the oil light come on and just beeps non stop the interior lights also will flicker on and off while driving. *tr
Our problem still has not been fixed. the car continues to "die in flight." i have uploaded a video to youtube. https://youtu.be/ssawxdfdswa this occurred while attempting to merge onto the interstate. the rpms jump up and down. the oil light and the electronic throttle control light flash and ding. the check engine light came on. this is going to cause an accident and the dealership says there is nothing wrong with the car.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the contact found a recall related to the fuel tank. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the fuel tank was replaced; however, the vehicle began to slow down to approximately 35 mph when reaching high speeds. additionally, the rpms would continue to increase without the acceleration matching the rpm increase. the contact informed the manufacturer who opened a case on the contact's behalf and informed the contact that there was no recall relating to the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 86,000.
I was leaving a store and started my car. everything seemed normal, but the car would not shift out of park. i had to leave the car and came home and found a multitude of information on this problem with this particular model car. i also found out how to take the console apart to get in and shift the car without the shifting lever, so i was able to get it home and drive it to the dealership. the dealership told me that this vin is not included in the recall for this exact problem for "certain 2005-2007 dodge chargers, magnums, and 300s." i had them repair it for $155. the dealership shared with me that they service 4-5 vehicles a week with this identical problem that were not included in the recall for this problem. that is in greensboro nc, which is not a super-large market but is not a tiny market either. i would like for someone to explain to me in detail why my specific car was not included in the recall.
I filled my gas tank (but did not top it off with fuel) and left the gas station at the first intersection. the car stalled while braking, the car came back on, accelerated against brakes, died again and wouldn't turn over afterward. had to turn the car all the way off and back on to restart the car, only to have it do it three more times on the way home. it feels like a serious accident waiting to happen. i read up on the issue and found that it's very common. dodge needs to fix this problem. we paid for a vehicle to safely transport us -- this is not safe.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. while driving on the freeway at an unknown speed, the vehicle stalled and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. in addition, the contact stated that the failure occurred every time the vehicle was refueled. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the throttle body and the power control module failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 168,000.
As i came to a complete stop, chimes when off in the car then the car just completely shut off. i restarted and car drove fine. the exact set of incidents happened several times a day over a course of a few months. i took the vehicle into a local dodge dealer. after spending thousands of dollars getting, tcm, ecm, major tune-up, spark plug coils, sensors repaired the problem still persisted. i have had over three different repair shops attempt to diagnose this issue and no one could figure it out. i noticed that the problem occurred even more frequently after filling up at the gas station. driving like this makes me feel very unsafe. this car has stalled numerous times in rush hour traffic and in freeway traffic. after reading several online threads it appears that other 06 charger owners are experiencing the same issues and it tends to point to a faulty sensor in the fuel tank. i need this matter resolved. this is very unsafe.
After refueling car intermittently began stalling and ultimately died upon coming to a stop. engine did restart but continued to stall and until destination reached approximately 6 miles. no further incidents until roughly two months later when exactly the same problem occurred under same circumstances. had just refueled and engine stalled repeatedly at speeds of up to 60mph then died when stopped at stop sign. engine restarted and continued to stall until residence reached. *tr
Car locked in park in the driveway. while driving in the rain all the dash lights flickered for 2-3 seconds then all lights and gauges shut down this included the headlights as well. while driving 55 miles per hour the car shut itself off i was in heavy traffic at the time. car is now at the dealership again they cannot find the problem. i still have the same problems with dash lights flickering and the car stopping. don't know if anyone else is having this problem but the car will also surge forward at a high rate of speed like i have stepped on the gas but my foot would be on the brake. this has happened several times and it scares me to death. these are safety issues that need to be corrected by the manufacture. dealerships are aware of these issues and have done nothing to correct the problems. this will be the last dodge i purchase even though i like to buy american made. an investigation should be done with so many complaints. i will be calling detroit with these issues. *tr
Hi, i've had a number of issues with the fuel tank scenario the earlier models suffer with. when i fill the car, it stalls a number of times. i was in a situation where i was coming to a light, the rpm's started to drop and the engine started to die as i was breaking. then the car revved back to life and this cause the rpm's to shoot up jolting the vehicle forward. immediately after it died yet again however the issue is i lost all power, steering, brakes, everything. from the jolt forward i came dangerously close to rear ending the car in front of me with a heavy brake pedal. at this point i was jarred a bit, and needed to get the car going again. i went to start it and it did no't want to turn over for roughly 30 seconds. the light changed and there was a lineup of disgruntled drivers behind me as i made efforts to get going again. then inevitably the vehicle died yet again in the middle of the intersection and went through the same situation. to negate this, i have made efforts to not fill the tank. now the bigger issue i am having is that when i go to put gas in the car, it does not take. i cannot get a gallon in without the pump clicking off. it takes me quite some time, 10 minutes even to simply put $20 in the car, and i get very frustrated gas attendants here in jersey if i'm not permitted to do man the pump. you need to literally stand with it and continue to reset the pump as it slowly takes and continuously clicks off. this problem needs to be solved, it i's simply unacceptable and dangerous. i have many other instances & dates with stalling and jolting issues after fillup. even when i leave a 1/4 of the tank empty, i still get some symptoms. not as often, but the car still does die out. now that it is so difficult to fill, it is inconvenient to drive. i love the car but the issues are almost not worth it, especially with how thirsty the srt is-no pun thanks *tr
When driving the engine will suddenly shut down with no fore warning. the gas peddle will go to the floor, all steering functions will be removed. the vehicle locks from 70 to 0 in a matter of seconds!!! shortly after the vehicle will restart. thus far, numerous mechanics has not been able to discover the problem.
This incident started occurring in september of 2014 but i always thought it was a "hiccup" and never really paid it any mind until it starting happening much more frequently. after i fill up my gas tank (i don't over fill) my car has intermittent engine stalls causing me to lose throttle response and my power steering. sometimes the car has enough rpm to restart the motor but most of the time i have to shift to neutral and turn the key to restart. this is happening while driving down the interstate!! scares me to death. now i have this stalling issue every single time i fill up. when slowing down is when the incident is most prevalent but even taking turns its happened and i lose power steering. this is a safety issue. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. the contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph, the engine stalled as the electronic throttle control warning lamp illuminated. the vehicle restarted on the first attempt and resumed normally. the failure recurred on seven separate occasions. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer to get diagnosed. the manufacture was made aware of the failure. the failure and current mileage was 111,000.
Vehicle is stalling after filling up with gas. occurs when idling (such as at a stoplight) or when decelerating at which it also loses the power steering. highly concerned this will occur in the middle of a busy intersection. can restart the car usually after two attempts. may go to the next light/stop and same incident will repeat itself. after driving the car for a few miles... (presumably as the fuel level goes down)... car behaves as normal - without issue. symptoms are very much like a bad tank of gas. took car to the dealer and they were unable to diagnose the problem. dealer ran diagnostic checks and no issues are reported. dodge refuses to do anything until dealer can diagnose the problem. yet, there is the exact same type of investigation that has already occurred (pe13016) - http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/defect/results.cfm?action_number=pe13016&searchtype=quicksearch&summary=true where chrysler acknowledges the problem with my 5.7l engine. is frustrating as can take the car to the dealership shortly after the problem (when it is occurring) and they inspect to find everything appears to be in find working order. yet, i certainly know the problem exists. :-( *tr
Engine stalled after startup or @ low speed several times, some times after fuel topoff and engine light /electronic throttle control light came on. *tr
After fueling car for a trip, while in park the idle speed increased then the car stalled. i was able to restart but while pulling into the street the car stalled again. luckily it started but when i pulled up to the red light it stalled again and took 3-4 attempts to get the car running again, it would turn over and then die. finally i got the car started and without any additional stops in my route i made it home with no other problems. i took the car to the dealership (didn't seem to have any problems) yesterday and today i was told i need to have the fuel tank replaced, the "broken" gauge can not be replaced. i have had 2 additional problems with the car losing power when accelerating onto the freeway in the last month, both after fuel ups, but the car had never stalled until recently. seems very costly, but more dangerous! i feel it should be recalled by dodge due to quantity of same complaints! *tr
Car stalled at stop light. took a few tries to get started again. this happens after refueling the car. this is not the first time this has occurred, i am irritated that it keeps happening. *tr
After filling up with gas this morning, as i accelerated away from the gas station the car began to buck and jerk. it smoothed out for a little while, then after accelerating away from the next stoplight it jerked and made a loud noise. this is heavy suburban traffic, so very stop-and-go. the car began to stall, and only restart if i depress the accelerator all the way to the floor while starting. go a little bit further, then buck and stall again. very dangerous! i'm learning through online vehicle forums that this is a relatively common problem with this year/make/model vehicle's gas tank and the integral "roll-over" valve which is supposed to prevent liquid fuel from entering the engine, yet the manufacturer refuses to acknowledge a faulty design that is leading to potentially dangerous situations. will it take accidents, fires and death to make it a higher priority? *tr
Car stalls and dies when attempting to accelerate. has occurred multiple times, and each incident happens right after filling the tank with gasoline. *tr
After filling the car with gas, and driving approximately 1 to 2 miles, the car stalled after making a left turn and starting to accelerate. i was able to restart the car and drive home. the next day the car acted like it was going to stall again after making a turn and starting to accelerate, but it didn't. this problem started in december of 2012 when the car had about 40000 miles on it. after researching the problem on the internet, i stopped topping off the gas tank and the problem did not re-occur until october 2013. i am concerned that the problem is getting worse and even if i don't fill the gas tank, the car will stall after driving it a few miles. fortunately, every time the car stalled i was turning on to a quiet street with little traffic, but this is a very dangerous problem that requires a recall from dodge. *tr
After filling up fuel, went to accelerate and car started sputtering, this happened while merging onto freeway. second time was when stopped at a stop light, light turned green, pressed the gas pedal and engine light came on and car died. was able to coast 2 lanes over to the side of road. car would restart but die after 30 seconds. had to car towed home. third time, car died at a busy intersection and was able to get it started and moved to a safe place. fourth time it died while turning into a shopping center. this is an extremely dangerous fault in the car and should be a recall and paid by chrysler, luckily i didn't get into an accident with someone rear ending me. my car is at the dealership with a $2000 charge to have this fixed. i should not have to be paying this, as it is a defect in the car itself!! *tr
Gear shift stuck in park car in garage aaa towing came out towed car and repaired $312.16 other 2006 chargers on recall list for this same issue this one needs to be also it is a special edition model so only 2000 made of these it's obvious by recall list this is an issue, why should i have to pay just because my car is a special model. *tr
Stalling happens after fuel up. stalling at high speeds while acceleration and while stopped at stop lights. looses power instantly on freeway the kicks back in. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. the contact stated that while adjusting the driver's side seat, both the accelerator and the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard and caused the vehicle to have low acceleration power. the contact mentioned that both the brake and accelerator pedals would rise or fall simultaneously depending on the adjustment of the driver's seat. the contact stated that the vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure and current mileage was 143,000. *tr
After fill up of gas tank csr will start and drive normal for approx 1 mile then begin to stall out. this happens while gas pedal is being depressed and while braking. after driving the vehicle for approx 10 to 15 min the stalling stops. this happens after every gas fill up. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. the contact stated while traveling approximately 50 mph, the vehicle suddenly lost acceleration power. the vehicle was moved to the shoulder where it resumed normal function. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was found that the speed sensor had failed. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 94,900. updated 8/26/13 *cn the consumer stated prior to the repair, the vehicle lost speed and was taken to the dealer. however, the were unable to duplicate the problem..
I have a 2006 dodge charger r/t with a 5.7l engine. my car has started to randomly stall mostly at slower speeds when approaching a stop light or making a turn. there is no warning that it is going to happen, it just sputters, bucks and then stalls. there are no codes after restarting the car. it will restart if i put it in either park or neutral but continues to chug and sputter after restarting. it will do this for awhile and then will not happen again for some time. i never know when it is going to do it or how long it will last. it is very unnerving since it happens at lights and in the middle of intersections. it has happened a few times at highway speeds and thankfully i was able to quickly restart it in neutral and not get into a bad situation! it's very frightening since i live in a big city with heavy traffic. this is very dangerous!!!!! after looking into this issue with the car and seeing the number of complaints, it is obvious that the manufacturer needs to address the problem and fix it. a recall would be appropriate. *tr
After filling up the gas tank the car stalled out while driving. its been happening for a long time now. this only accrues after filling up only. *tr
After fueling up, i pulled out of the gas station and onto a main road. about 300yards from the gas station. i accelerated to approximately 40mph, in the middle of the intersection my car "dinged" the oil light came on and my engine shut down. i lost all ability to turn, or break. this is a very dangerous situation. i feared for my life. i originally thought it was because i let the fuel levels get too low, after, i realized if i fill up all the way, this always occurs. god forbid if i were to be entering on to a freeway at a higher rate of speed. since this has happened to me 3+ times, i am very scared and nervous to drive my car. something as to be done. please, before someone gets killed because the gas tank and evap canister are screwy! i. ant get any dealership or mechanic to fix it without replacing the whole tank,($$$$$$$). *tr
My car have mis fire cylinder 1 it shakes when it cold then after a while it goes away, transmission driving bad out of no where going only 30 miles the fastest in my car stuck in park. *tr
After filling up my fuel tank up for the first time the car was hard to restart. once the car started the she kept cutting out and even died twice. this happened while i was in traffic. since that time every time i filled the tank i have the same issue. i have had to resort to only filling the car up to 3/4 tank to avoid this issue. *tr
After fueling up/topping off to the first shut-off only, after pulling away from the gas pump, the car hesitated, stalled and failed to restart right away. it has been increasing this behavior from rarely to almost every time i fuel up - i am now at 171,*** miles. last night i fueled up, drove about 300 yards and parked for the night. this morning the car failed to start. after about 6 attempts, i floored the accelerator while cranking and the car started. after pulling out of the parking lot where i was parked and onto the highway, he car sputtered/hesitated 4 times (kind of like a bucking bronco) about 70 yards down the road, with traffic catching up to me and then it settled back to its normal self. about 3 weeks ago, while traveling through tennessee, i fueled up, pulled into the street and approached a red light and i stopped at which time the car did its hesitation and stalled. i tried to start the car, but it would not start. i hit the 4-way flashers and i sat there for about 25 seconds before the car was able to be started again. i don't use cheap gas, i don't gas up at a station if i see a tanker truck filling the tanks (or pulling out of the station) and i stop filling after the initial shut-off of the pump. on a side note, since day one (sep 2005), when gassing up, i have to rest the pump handle on the filler door, which ends up putting the pump handle upside down at about the 10 or 11 o'clock position depending on the padding of the handle. any other position would cause the pump handle to click off almost immediately when trying to fill the tank. from what i have read on various charger forums, i am not the only one that has had the above "problems". i am afraid one of these days this behavior will lead to an accident with somebody getting hurt or possibly even killed, either in a rear-end collision or a t-bone collision. *tr
The car will stall within a minute or so of filling up the gas tank. this has happened about 95% of the time i filled up the tank. if i feel the stall coming on i can throw it in neutral and rev the engine for about 10 seconds and it won't stall anymore. i first began to notice it at least 8 months ago. i stopped filling the tank all the way just to avoid this because it caused me to stall while going thru an intersection and backing up traffic. i was told i needed to buy a new gas tank to rectify this issue. *tr
First instance was on sunday, 6 may 2012. car stalled after turning onto city street while accelerating to posted speed: 35 mph. if fuel tank is filled to click on gas pump (full tank) this continues to happen, especially in very humid weather conditions/rain. car has also stalled on hills at stop signs or traffic lights and has stalled at on-ramps to local interstate highway/city bypass, given the above full fuel tank issue. if i don't fill the tank above the 7/8 mark on the fuel gage indicator, the car does not stall. if i exceed the 7/8 mark, then the car does stall, multiple times if very humid conditions exist and will continue until the fuel tank is at or below 7/8 capacity. i've had approximately 22 stalls since sunday 6 may 2012. it's inconvenient to have to guess when to stop the fuel pump at gas stations and very frightening to stall in traffic, especially at on-ramps to highways. *tr
I pulled out on a major road and the gas pedal assembly broke off of the mounting bracket. i was in a spot where i couldn't pull over safely so i had to reach down and try to operate the throttle by hand while driving. upon closer inspection, the plastic part of the gas pedal that holds the gas pedal to the mounting bracket broke off. this vehicle is equipped with the "pursuit" or law enforcement package. *tr
Car would keep accelerating for a few seconds after removing foot from pedal. when it completely failed the car would rev to 4000 rpms in neutral without even touching the accelerator pedal. put the car in drive when the rpms dropped and it just took off. pedal appeared to be fine and where it was supposed to be. had the car towed to the dealership and the pedal assembly was replaced. the tech duplicated the same problem i was experiencing. *tt
On feb. 17, 2011, i started to accelerate onto i-495 in maryland. hitting the accelerator for a fast take off, the accelerator broke off and the car went from 15 mph to 80 mph in 5 sec. i immediately put the car in neutral, got to the side of the road and applied the brakes. if there had been a another vehicle in front of me, i probably would not be making this post right now. so far, chrysler of dodge has done nothing. i did order a replacement accelerator assembly and made the repair. this could have been a fatality, if not for god and my own professional experience as a driver. dodge should at the least pay for the parts and labor of this repair. *tr
This morning i began to back out of the garage when the vehicle increased acceleration on its own, i was able to brake but i could feel the pressure of the acceleration against the brake. i stopped the car then proceeded to back out again, and it did the same thing. i then shifted it into drive and began moving forward. i live off of a dirt road so i usually like to drive very slow, sometimes coasting (the terrain is flat with no down or upgrade)but i usually have to tap the accelerator to keep it coasting. this morning it wanted to accelerate on its own going forward, and i had to repeatedly push the brakes. so this happened moving forward and backward. i don't want to drive it in fear of severe acceleration. also, prior to this incident,i have recently felt like it was losing acceleration as i coasted, it feels slightly jerky, but i am driving on somewhat soft sand when this happens, only, it's never done that in the past. i haven't been too worried about this since it seems fine when i am driving above 10 mph. have there been any reports of this nature? *tr
Brakes have locked up x3. vehicle almost skidded into the back of another vehicle @ 40mph. afraid to drive vehicle. had it checked out by dealership & repair shop, nothing wrong. repair shop did note brake squeak and vehicle shaking even at low mph during test drive- he had just put new rotor and brake pads less than 3mnths ago! vehicle also has a noticeable 'kick' or 'jarring' when driving- even at 5-10mph in parking lot when accelerator pedal is not even pressed. i am very afraid to drive this car especially w/my child. this is my only vehicle and as a single mother and educator -safety, security, and reliability is important. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. while driving approximately 35 mph on normal road conditions, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal. she immediately heard a beeping noise followed by excessive hesitation. in addition, there was an extremely low power response during acceleration. the failures occurred without warning. the vehicle resumed normal operation and was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. the technician was unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on five separate occasions for identical failures, but there were no resolutions. the failure mileage was 23,723 and current mileage was 39,000. updated 06/09/09. *lj the consumer stated while driving, the vehicle would shut off for no apparent reason. all of the gauges on the dashboard would just drop. the consumer took the vehicle to the dealer on several occassions, but to no avail. no error codes displayed on the computer. there was no check engine light. updated 06/11/09.*jb
Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge charger. while driving 30 mph, the accelerator pedal failed while attempting to accelerate. the driver used his hand to accelerate the vehicle and drive home. the pedal was electric. the dealer could not determine the cause of the failure. the current and failure mileages were 105,000.
1.multi cylinder misfires, resulting in the inability to accelerate, rough idle and engine failure. 2. approximately every 4 to 6 weeks and 3 times over the last 2 weeks. 3. service to the vehicle 10 times, replacing shift module, valve keepers, combustion chamber cleaning (twice), cam seal, rocker arm, both exh., rocker rails and pedestals. *tr
Purchased july 14, 2006. it ran great with no problems until july 26. i went to take a left out of my company's parking lot and the car sputtered and would accelerate fast. i had to pull off on the left side of the road to get out of the way of oncoming traffic. i put it in neutral and gave it some gas. i attempted to go again when the traffic was clear and it sputtered more until i gave it a lot of gas and then it drove fine. i though it was an isolated incident so i drove it home. that night my wife, son and i took the car to the mall. upon leaving the mall it did it again and the engine light was on. the dealership was still open and close by so i drove it directly there. they gave me a loaner to drive while they attempted to fix it. on august 9, they gave the vehicle back to me. that night it did it again, except the vehicle actually died on me in the middle of traffic. the next day it was back to the dealer where is sat for 37 days while they tried to figure out what was wrong. they replaced all the oxygen sensors, the power control module, the wiring harnesses and i am sure there were some other things. they test drove it for 9 key cycles and 250 miles and were 98% confident they fixed it so i got the car back on september 15. the next day the same problem returned and i was 50 miles from home and this time the idling of the car was so rough that the car was visibly shaking. i had a friend follow me home and since it was a saturday night, the dealership was not open and would not be until monday. monday morning i started the car up and let it idle 5 minutes before leaving. when i got in, it was idling rough again and the engine light was flashing. i shut it down, called a tow truck and it is back at the dealership where it will stay because i am not taking it back. i have requested vehicle replacement from chrysler and the ...
I am about to file a lemon law complaint because dodge has been "unable to duplicate" the most serious problems that have plagued my vehicle, a 2006 dodge charger r/t, since day four of my ownership. i have owned this car for 68 days and of those, i have only been able to drive the functioning car for 19 days. they have fixed a number of minor issues and notified me that they would be unable to fix or do not know how to fix at this time, some minor issues including the air conditioning compressor problems (which they say they have also been "unable to duplicate". the serious issues that are occurring when it idles, when it accelerates and with what seems to be the suspension and possibly both the engine and transmission. of those 68 days, they have come to pick up my car on three different occasions to try and fix it, the last time (which continues currently) they have had my car for four weeks. i happen to know (upon researching after the prolonged period they have had the car) that tsb's or technical service bulletins have been issued for every problem that is occurring with my car. additionally, i have taken my car to two different mechanics (one dodge dealership and one independent mechanic) that have witnessed these malfunctions. i would like to know what my options are legally for getting some kind of resolution. *jb
