  • You can find it near the hood hinge or radiator support on the driver`s side. The VIN can be found on the engine block above the oil pan on classic Chrysler vehicles.
  • Search for an elevated, even place on the side of the engine. If the VIN under the hood doesn't match characters stamped in other car locations, it is a sign that it was swapped from the other Chrysler car.

To find the VIN location on the Chrysler 300, take out the driver’s side front inner fender liner. It will uncover for you a VIN engraved into the frame rail.
