The transmission in this vehicle is a total piece of junk. there are many, many vehicles with this same transmission. it locked up slinging the driver into the steering wheel and windshield. this broke the bolts holding the seat to the frame. the cost to fix was over 1200 dollars. i've talked with several transmission shops, each one is in business due to the fact that this transmission is defective. they repair or replace more of these than all other times 400. it appears that this problem has been a problem since first being used. it also appears that no one is being held accountable for the repairs and/or deaths, injury that is being caused by this defective unit. it's oindtalled in millions of vehicles worldwide. when is something going to be done ? when is someone going to be held accountable ? stop this madness, please ! the time it's took me to fill out the form, dozens of people were injured due to the above statement. *tr
Both driver and passenger seats slide back and forth depending on whether i am accelerating or braking. this movement of the seat affects the pressure that my foot puts on the brakes and accelerator and often causes me to stop faster than intended (which could cause a driver behind me to crash into my truck).
On two separate occasions driver's seat bracket broke from the vehicle and caused the seat to move while driving 35 mph. on the first occasion the problem was repaired by the dealer. on the second occasion dealer will repair problem at consumer's expense.*ak the seat bracket failed allowing the seat to pivot forward throwing the consumer into the steering wheel. *tc
