Problems with 2015 Chevrolet Colorado AIR BAGS

During an out of town trip, my electric glitch, from the dashboard to the navigation as if were going to shut down! now i'm in a parking lot and the dash is telling me to service the airbag.

Three service calls to fix warning light check air bag. one to replace passenger side above door air bag two to fix the airbag connecter on two driver side air bags. this started in october 2015 and last one was may 2016. is this a issue with this vehicle? why so many airbag problems in a short period of time.
