While driving city streets in a snow storm, i was unable to defrost the rear window and melt the snow off of the heated side view mirrors. i literally couldn't see anything behind or next to me. when i press the defroster button the light indicates that it's on but nothing happens. there were no warning indicators illuminated. i took the vehicle into the dealership twice for this problem and they said that both the rear window defogger and heated mirrors work off the same button and needed to be reprogrammed - but it never seems to work when i truly need it.
My headlights continue to blow, my windshield wipers will not come on. my radio goes out and on. when starting my car using push start my car stall. hesitate to start but finally starts after so many tries. i have had to jump start car and recently had a battery replaced. now the power steering is gone out. i can barely turn steering wheel., this happened while driving home from work. my dashboard is very dim. it went completely black a couple of times while driving when came back it's barely lit i can barely see gas gauge, or speed odometer.
I have been having problems where my car wont start, when trying lights rapidly blink, sometimes the radio and directionals wont work, and sometimes it cuts off while driving. my car is a 2015 buick lacrosse with 14k miles on it.

Car runs for 10 - 15 minutes then just turns of , wait a couple of minutes and it turns back on like as nothing happened then it turns off again does same thing engine light turns on for a minute or two then turns off.
I received a notice from gm that my vehicle with the electrical connection to the accelerator pedal which could cause a a reduced power and acceleration condition. however, this is not a recall and i should not seek a repair until i have evidence that my vehicle has this problem. this sounds like a serious safety risk to me. if this condition occurs when i am merging into traffic on an interstate, it could cause a serious accident. apparently owners are supposed to wait for such an occurrence in order to gather evidence of a need for a repair. i want gm to tell me if my vehicle has this defect in advance and, if so, repair it before the disaster occurs.
My buick lacrosse was handling just fine until i put a heavy piece of luggage into the trunk. i got back in the car and it wouldn't start. a message was on my dashboard saying there was a power steering problem. i was at the airport, so a tow truck driver was on the scene within minutes. the tow truck driver jumped my car. he handed me the trim cover that covers the battery. i'm not sure if he took it off, or whether it came off when i put the heavy suitcase in the trunk. i put the trim cover in the back of my car and drove off. the car then stalled when i put it in reverse to back into the driveway. it wouldn't start again, so i jumped it. it worked and i drove to my mechanic. mechanic said my battery was fine. they checked the error messages. they couldn't figure out what was wrong so they sent me to a dealer. the dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong and said to come back if it happens again. for about two months the car would randomly not start ...
Radio and dash components cut out and go black. then when they come.back on a service battery message comes on the display but goes away withing a second or two. and the power steering will stop while all this is happening if turning
My 2012 buick lacrosses newest problem is one that actually scares me. i can be driving along at 65 miles an hour and it will kinda jerk a couple of times, then usually it will flash 'service the stability track' then i lose power steering and it dies. i'm lucky if i can make it to the side of the road.i live in a rural area and the highways around here are two lane with minimum shoulders. so when the car does this it is dangerous. it has happened 5 times now. it will restart after about 15-30 minutes and drive just fine. i've taken it to a mechanic and nothing shows up on the computer, everything looks good. but its not, this is by far the worst of the problems i've experienced with this car and there have been quite a few.
The power door locks do not work properly even when using the interior switches. most of the time, doors must be locked or unlocked manually ! our 2008 buick lacrosse cxl has less than 51,000 miles and should not have this problem. this is a very serious safety issue because i've read that people were trapped/ unable to get out of their lacrosse when trip was done.
