It has been very cold here in germany. our temperatures have dropped below zero. i went outside on the 20th to clean off the snow from my car. i walked upon my drivers side window shattered into a million pieces. my car was towed to the dealer only to find it's not under warranty. i love my volvo, i have only had it for two months and now we have to come out of the pocket for something that happened weather related. *tr

1. can barely see out of inside rearview mirror in the daytime. particularly hazardous if cars following do not have their headlights on. volvo says they cannot lighten/correct the auto dimming mirror. 2. blis system is not reliable for cars in blind spot and should be ignored. however, it cannot be turned off. response from volvo: hi , thank you for contacting volvo cars of north america. the auto-dim rearview mirror is unable to be lightened for daytime use. there is no permanent shut-off for the blis function in your vehicle. of course, it can be shut off during use, but must be done manually each time the vehicle is started. thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond. drive safely, volvo cars of north america*tr

Rear window in 2010 volvo xc60 exploded after small impact into thousands of very sharp shards (not the "pebbles" as is supposed to happen). shards were sent throughout the cabin including to the passenger seats, windscreen, speedo, etc. this does not seem the appropriate way for tempered glass to behave. *tr
