While driving there was a loud popping noise then smoke started coming from the rear of the truck. this occurred after the factory spare tire was installed by a volvo road side assistance repair service. consumer wasn't' able to control the vehicle, it felt like the truck was being driven on an uneven pavement, and the spare tire wasn't gripping. when the service representative was called he indicated that this size tire shouldn't be used on this truck. the truck had to be towed to the dealership. the cause of the smoke had yet to be determined.*ak
While driving 65 mph, sidewall separated from tread on right rear tire. dealer contacted michelin, mxv4 tire size 195/60r15, dot fuda chyx369 06-51078-01, original equipment for a volvo, v70 ,2000. *ak *tt
While driving, michelin mxv4 left rear tire experienced sidewall blowout, there was no pothole or debris on road, tire was replaced at prorated cost, tire size p195/60r15, dot fudachyx289. *slc
My car was delivered with an incorrectly sized spare tire. apparently (according to the dealer) the tire is supposed to be bigger so the car will remain level at all times. when the car is not level, the self-leveling struts in the rear try to level the c
