Seat belt roller failure. came home from running a few errands, car has about 43k miles on it, and i noticed the seat belt would not retract fully. i tried to pull it and get it to function correctly, but it wouldn't budge in or out. after a few tries, i managed to get it to release fully, but it still will not retract fully. seems like replacement of the roller is needed to repair.
