Yesterday, february 27, i received a recall notice from toyota for takata air bags. this is an important safety recall appears in red ink on the notice. my car is a toyota yaris sedan, 2008, vin [xxx]. i immediately called the local toyota store, kendall toyota, to make an appointment for the repair. i was told that toyota doesn't yet have a fix for the problem and that i should await further word. toyota's response shows egregious disregard for my safety. also, if toyota has known of the problem since my car was manufactured nine years ago, then the unavailability of a fix in 2017 signals almost unbelievable incompetence in the organization. I tried to stop + could not. if feel as if there are several recalls on this vehicle, one that does not meet highway standards, in which the dealership should have known about before selling to me on october 31, 2016. i had trouble getting my title from the dealership + had several issues with the vehicle + it was within the 30 day warranty period, + they told me every time that everything was ok, until i was in my accident + now have + am still dealing with several medical issues.

Takata recall, manufacturer stated they have no replacement available and no idea when one may be available in the near future for at least half a year. very dangerous risk for me as i drive a lot.

Takata recall. my car is in the highest risk zone (zone a). i was notified by mail on 6/9/2016 but a remedy is still not available as of 12/6/2016.

Takata recall: fortunately nothing serious has happened, other than the fact that the recall notice indicates i should not have a passenger in the front passenger seat as it might end in injury or death. it has been over a month since i received this notice and toyota has yet to offer a fix for my vehicle. this has become very difficult in both personal and business as i use my car to carry enough passengers to require an individual to be in the front seat. the only response i get from toyota is that i need to wait and worse, they cannot give me any kind of date. they are putting me in the position that i may need to purchase another vehicle but then i will not be able to sell mine with a known recall that has no status on when it will be fixed. toyota has put me into a financial bind that may require i take a risk with an individual in the front passenger seat which in turn could cause injury or death. it's as if they are okay with dealing with a few deaths rather than spending the money to fix the issue.

Takata inflators. i was notified by toyota about the recall over a month ago. according to the recall i am in high risk zone because i live in south florida. i have yet to hear from them about getting a replacement. this is very scary and wrong. my kids are always in the passenger seat when i drive them places and are in mortal danger. when are these recalls going to be remedied? is there a time limit? i shouldn't be expected to put my passengers in danger everytime i drive.

Takata recall-i was notified of the recall back in june of this year and still no action has been taken to repair my auto. since that time, i have not been able to carry passengers in my front passenger seat severely impacting my use of my vehicle.

Takata recall. there is an airbag recall that affects my yaris. the deployment of the passenger airbag can send hot metal along with the airbag during deployment. toyota recommends that no one sit in the passenger seat until the airbag is replaced. the recall came out in early june for my yaris, yet by early october there is no solution to the problem. i also have a corolla that had the same airbag issue, but the faulty airbag was replaced several months ago. i don't know why there is no solution for the yaris at this time and it is causing me hardship because i can't have a passenger sit in the front right seat. my toyota dealer said that there is no anticipated replacement date for the airbag, so the issues i have will continue for at least the near future. i am very frustrated with the response by toyota on this issue and would like to have my yaris fixed so i can use the front passenger seat.

We were sent a safety recall on our yaris on may 23, 2016! nhtsa recall no. 16v-340! still no fix on the passenger air bag. this car is a work car and used on daily bases! it is a dangerous for this air bag to not get fix asp!

Takata recall my car was recalled may 23, 2016. the documentation we received advised to not have anyone use the front passenger seat since it is the front passenger airbag that is currently under recall. it is now october 28, 2016 and there is still no fix or timeline for the fix available even though i am considered in the 1st wave of fixes where is says take immediate action. how am i supposed to take immediate action if after 5 months there is still no fix available? i contacted the dealership yesterday and they have not heard anything on a timeline either. i am unable to use my vehicle to transport my entire family without the use of the front passenger seat. how long are we expected to have half a car? i must use this car to transport a toddler. how can i be assured that even with no front passenger that she will be safe in her carseat in the backseat? i have read where even the the airbag is not on, the inflator could still have issues in a collision. is this information correct? i am worried for the safety of my family but i cannot afford a different vehicle at this time, not like anyone would take it as a trade in even if i could afford it.
