On 1/29/11 i ran out of gas when the fuel gauge showed that i had 1/8 of a tank.the dealer said that he fuel sending device had to be replaced on my 2008 toyota yaris. i was told by the dealer that"this happens on yarises a lot'". if this is happening so much why isn't the part being recalled? it is not safe to run out of gas unexpectedly, especially in the middle of the street or freeway. *tr
